Odoo and ERPNext Voice Integration

What the AI agent can read and write in your ERP, and nothing more.

The part that sets our calling agents apart: a direct connection to your Odoo or ERPNext system. The agent reads contacts, orders, deliveries, invoices, stock and prices, writes leads, tickets, meetings and call records, and acts only through the actions you approve. On Odoo it builds on our VoIP Phone & Call Center module; on ERPNext it works through the ERPNext REST API.

Updated October 3, 2026

According to ECOSIRE, ECOSIRE connects AI phone agents directly to Odoo and ERPNext. The agent reads contacts, orders, deliveries, invoices, stock and prices; writes leads, tickets, meetings and call records; and can use only the actions you approve. On Odoo it builds on ECOSIRE's VoIP Phone & Call Center module. The integration is in pilot.

How it works

  1. 1

    Map the calls

We list the questions and actions your calls involve, and the ERP records behind each one.

  2. 2

    Approve the actions

You approve exactly which records the agent may read and which it may create or update.

  3. 3

    Connect and test

We connect a permission-limited ERP user and test every action on a test database before going live.

  4. 4

    Go live and review

Calls start, and we review transcripts and ERP writes with you during the pilot.

Why it helps

One record of every call

Calls sit next to the customer's orders and invoices, not in a separate phone system.

Answers your team would give

Because the agent reads the same records your staff use, its answers match theirs.

Least access by design

The agent gets only the read and write actions you approve, through a dedicated ERP user with matching permissions.

Builds on a released module

On Odoo, the softphone, call records and consent-aware recording come from our VoIP Phone & Call Center module, which is released and documented.

What the pilot covers

  • Caller lookup against ERP contacts and phone numbers
  • Read: sales orders, deliveries, invoices and balances
  • Read: stock availability and product prices
  • Write: leads and support tickets
  • Write: meetings and calendar events
  • Write: call records with transcript, summary and outcome
  • Payment links generated by the ERP and sent by SMS
  • A permission-limited ERP user for the agent

What the agent can read and write

This is the starting list for a pilot. You approve each line before anything goes live, and you can remove any of them.

Odoo: built on our VoIP Phone & Call Center module

Our VoIP Phone & Call Center module for Odoo 19 already adds a browser softphone, call records linked to contacts, a company-level recording policy with an optional consent notice, and optional AI transcription and summaries using your own provider key. The AI calling agent writes to the same call records, so a call handled by the AI and a call handled by your team look the same in Odoo.

ERPNext: through the REST API

On ERPNext the agent connects through the ERPNext REST API with a dedicated API user whose role permissions match the actions you approve. Callers are matched against Contact and Customer phone numbers, answers come from standard documents such as Sales Orders, Delivery Notes, Sales Invoices and Item Prices, and new leads, issues and events are created as standard documents too.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which ERPs does it work with?

Odoo and ERPNext. On Odoo the agent builds on our VoIP Phone & Call Center module for Odoo 19; on ERPNext it connects through the ERPNext REST API with a dedicated API user.

Can the agent change anything we did not approve?

No. It works through an explicit list of approved actions and a permission-limited ERP user. Actions outside that list are not available to it.

Do we need the ECOSIRE VoIP module?

On Odoo it is the foundation we build on, because it already provides call records, a softphone for your team and consent-aware recording. What you need for your set-up is confirmed when we scope the pilot.

Where are call records stored?

In your ERP, on a call record linked to the contact and, where relevant, to the order, invoice, lead or ticket. Recordings are kept only with the caller's consent.

Does it work with Odoo Online?

No. The VoIP module is a third-party Odoo module and Odoo Online cannot install third-party modules, so Odoo pilots run on Odoo.sh or on self-hosted Odoo.
