ECOSIRE · Agentic ERP, continually developed
ECOSIRE etymology: ECO (ecommerce • economy • ecosystem) + SIRE (leader)
In ECOSIRE, an AI agent is an account — with an explicit tool allowlist, a risk ceiling it may never exceed unsupervised, and an hourly limit. Every action it takes is proposed, policy-checked, approved where it matters, and written to a ledger you can read. It runs on the same platform as our 3910+ business apps across 10 ERP and commerce platforms.

"AI-powered" usually means a chat box bolted onto a form. Here it means something a system administrator can audit: an agent is a principal, its permissions are data, and its behaviour leaves evidence. Each claim below points at code that ships in this platform.
Every agent has its own record with three fields that decide what it can do: the list of tools it is allowed to call, the highest risk level it may act on unsupervised, and how many actions it may take per hour. Change them and the agent's behaviour changes — no redeploy.
CRM, contacts, sales, purchase, inventory, accounting, helpdesk, HR, projects and more each publish their own tools into one registry, and each tool carries a fixed risk rating. An agent is offered only the tools on its allowlist — the rest do not exist for it.
Posting a journal entry, registering a payment, approving a purchase order — the tools that move money are rated critical, and critical requires a human at every autonomy level, including the highest one. That is not a setting; it is a hard-coded short-circuit with a property test that asserts it for every possible ceiling.
Once a proposal validates, everything after it is written down: policy rejections, approvals, executions and failures, each with the reason for the decision. Where a model was involved, the entry also carries the model and prompt version, the tokens and the cost in integer micro-dollars. Export the ledger as JSON for the full record, or CSV for the decision fields.
L0 Suggest proposes everything and executes nothing. L1 Assist may act on low-risk tools. L2 Operate raises the ceiling. Moving the dial moves exactly one number — the risk level above which a person must approve — so you can start an agent at L0 and raise it once you have read its ledger.
POST /api/mcp speaks the Model Context Protocol. Authenticate with a scoped agent key and the server advertises that agent's allowlisted business tools, plus four built-in status and loop controls — nothing outside the allowlist. Calls from an outside agent take the same path as ours: propose, policy, approval, execution, ledger. There is no side door.

A worked example
Every morning the collections agent scans overdue invoices and proposes a dunning message at the 7-, 14- or 30-day mark. Below L2 it cannot send: the proposal waits in the approvals inbox until someone reads it. Proposing a payment reconciliation is rated critical, so it stays a proposal at every level. Sent, approved, rejected or failed, the ledger records what happened.
