No DIY setup — a working app, built, installed and supported by ECOSIRE.
Start with a one-time build price. We scope it with you at kickoff.
ECOSIRE builds, configures and installs it on your Shopify.
You go live in about 2–4 weeks, with a post-launch support window.
Shopify POS is excellent at retail checkout but was never built for table service, modifier-heavy menus, or holding an order open while a customer keeps ordering. The Restaurant & Cafe POS Suite closes that gap. It is a custom-built POS UI Extension plus a supporting app that ECOSIRE develops, installs on your store, and supports — not an instant App Store download.
We build the suite as a Shopify POS UI Extension (Smart Grid tiles and post-purchase actions) backed by an embedded app authenticated via OAuth and Shopify-managed access scopes. Menu structure — items, forced-choice modifier groups, combos and station routing — is stored in product metafields and metaobjects, so your menu lives natively in your Shopify Admin and syncs to every register. Orders, tabs and fulfillment state are written through the Admin GraphQL API, and webhooks (orders/create, orders/updated, carts/update) keep kitchen tickets, tab balances and multi-location inventory consistent across stations.
Open tabs are modeled as draft orders that stay editable until close, supporting both pre-pay and post-pay flows. Kitchen tickets print per station via your existing receipt printers or a routed print bridge, and course firing lets staff hold and fire courses on timing rather than dumping the whole ticket at once. Staff can switch a register between quick-serve and full-service modes for counter rushes versus seated tables.
Because every build is scoped to your menu, your stations and your hardware, you get a register that matches how your floor actually runs — without leaving the Shopify ecosystem your inventory, payments and reporting already live in. ECOSIRE handles the build, the install, staff handover, and ongoing support.
Runs one or two espresso bars on Shopify POS and needs fast modifier selection (milk, syrup, size, temperature) and a tab for customers who keep ordering, without buying a separate hospitality POS.
Counter-service venue that wants combos, forced-choice add-ons and per-station kitchen tickets so the grill and cold-prep lines only see their own items during a rush.
Two-to-five locations standardized on Shopify POS who need open tabs, course firing and full-service mode at the table, with menu and inventory managed centrally in Shopify Admin across all venues.

No. The Restaurant & Cafe POS Suite is build-to-order. After purchase, ECOSIRE builds the POS UI Extension and embedded app, configures it to your menu, stations and hardware, and installs it on your store as a custom/unlisted app. You are buying the build, install and support — not a self-service download.
Typical delivery is about 2 to 4 weeks from the time we receive your menu, modifier rules, station layout and printer details. A single-cafe espresso menu is faster; a multi-location full-service rollout with course firing takes longer. We confirm a firm timeline during scoping before any build work begins.
Every build includes a post-launch support window covering bug fixes, configuration help and Shopify API-version updates (Shopify deprecates GraphQL/webhook versions on a schedule, and we keep your extension current). After that window we offer ongoing support and menu-change retainers. We never leave a custom build unmaintained against Shopify's quarterly API changes.
Yes. It runs as a Shopify POS UI Extension inside the standard Shopify POS app on supported iPad and Android devices, so payments, tax and reporting stay native to Shopify. Kitchen tickets print to your existing receipt printers; during scoping we confirm your exact printer models and station layout and configure routing accordingly.
In your own Shopify store. Menu items, forced-choice modifier groups, combos and station routing are stored in Shopify product metafields and metaobjects, editable in Shopify Admin. There is no separate third-party menu database to keep in sync — changes you make in Admin propagate to every register.
