Does our employee data leave Business Central?
No. All analytics are computed inside your Business Central tenant using AL queries and codeunits, and access is governed by a dedicated permission set. The OData/REST endpoints we expose are consumed by tools you control — Power BI, Excel or Dataverse — within your own Microsoft compliance boundary. There is no ECOSIRE-hosted data warehouse and no PII sent to a third party.
Do we need Power BI or Power Platform licenses?
No — the core dashboard runs natively inside Business Central using AL pages, Role Center cues and charts, so it works with just your BC licenses. If you already own Power BI through the Power Platform, we additionally deliver a companion report bound to the same web service endpoints for richer boardroom visuals. Power BI is an optional enhancement, not a requirement.
