The Royal Mail & UK Carriers Connector is a custom Shopify app built to order by ECOSIRE for UK merchants who ship domestically with Royal Mail and the major couriers. This is not an instant App Store download — we build the integration against your exact fulfilment workflow, install it on your store via an OAuth-authenticated custom app, and support it after launch.

Once live, the connector reads new and unfulfilled orders through the Shopify Admin GraphQL API and pushes them into Royal Mail Click & Drop (and to Evri, DPD UK and ParcelForce where you hold accounts) so you can generate shipping labels without manual re-keying. It listens on the orders/create, orders/fulfilled and orders/paid webhooks to keep order state in sync, writes carrier, service and tracking data back to each order as fulfillment records and metafields, and respects multi-location inventory so the right dispatch location and service are selected per order.
Operationally it is built for batch dispatch: bulk label and manifest printing, configurable service and rate rules (by weight, destination, order value or tag), and automatic tracking sync that triggers Shopify's native shipping notifications. Customer-facing returns labels can be generated on demand or exposed through a returns flow.
Because every UK store negotiates different carrier accounts, service codes and packaging defaults, a configurable off-the-shelf app rarely maps cleanly. This is a custom build, not an instant download. A standard build of the Royal Mail and UK carriers connector typically takes around two to four weeks from the point we receive your carrier account credentials and confirm your service mappings and rules. We scope your exact requirements first, build and test on a development store, then install on your live store. Timelines for extra carriers or unusual workflows are confirmed in writing before we start.
After launch ECOSIRE provides a support window for bug fixes and questions, and we remain available for changes — new service codes, additional carriers, rule adjustments or updates when a carrier changes its API. Ongoing support and enhancement work is quoted and agreed separately from the one-time build fee, so you are never locked into a recurring per-label subscription you didn't ask for.
Yes. The connector uses your own Royal Mail Click & Drop account and your Evri, DPD UK and ParcelForce accounts and API credentials. We do not resell carrier capacity or postage — you keep your negotiated rates and your direct relationship with each carrier. We connect Shopify to those accounts and encode your service and product codes into the app.
No. It is a custom app that ECOSIRE builds for your store and installs through Shopify's standard OAuth custom-app flow, scoped to only the API access your fulfilment workflow needs. You own the installed result. We do not claim an App Store listing and there is no public download link.
Yes. The app is built to be multi-location inventory aware, so it can select the correct dispatch location and the appropriate carrier service per order. If you run multiple warehouses or split fulfilment, we map that logic into the service and rate rules during the build and verify it on a development store before go-live.
