The Conditional Payment Rules Engine gives your Shopify store granular control over which payment methods appear to which buyers — control the native checkout doesn't expose on its own. Instead of showing every gateway to everyone, you decide the logic: surface low-cost methods on thin-margin carts, hide expensive ones, prioritize local rails by country, and unlock B2B terms only for tagged wholesale accounts.
Geo/IP-based payment method targeting — show local rails (iDEAL, Tabby, SEPA, etc.) by buyer country and optional IP signal
Cart-value thresholds — hide or show methods above/below a configurable order total per currency
Product- and collection-based rules — restrict methods when specific SKUs, tags or collections are in the cart
Customer-tag and B2B segment rules — expose net-terms or invoice methods only to tagged wholesale / B2B company accounts
Block high-fee methods on thin-margin carts to protect contribution margin
Schedule rules by date and time window (promotions, regional business hours, payday cycles)
This is a build-to-order app. ECOSIRE designs the rule set with you, builds the app against your store, installs it via a custom Shopify app (OAuth), and supports it. It is not an instant App Store download — there is an honest build and QA lead time before go-live.
Under the hood the app uses Shopify's payment customization Functions (the supported, Checkout-Extensibility path to hide and reorder payment methods) plus delivery/payment customization logic evaluated server-side. Rules read live cart context — line items, total, currency, buyer country and customer tags / company location for B2B — and metafields you control from the Admin. Geo targeting resolves from the checkout's buyer country and optional IP signals, so a buyer in the UAE sees Tabby and card, while an EU buyer sees iDEAL and SEPA.
Because it runs as a Shopify Function at checkout, decisions are fast, server-evaluated, and Checkout-Extensibility / Shopify Plus compatible — no brittle theme hacks, no checkout.liquid. Admin configuration is wired through the Admin GraphQL API and metafields so your team can adjust thresholds without a redeploy.
We scope honestly: native Shopify already covers some payment ordering, and this app earns its place when your rules get conditional — by margin, segment, geography or schedule. If your needs are simpler, we'll tell you.
Wants to steer buyers toward lower-cost gateways and suppress high-fee methods on low-margin orders to cut blended processing cost without hurting conversion.
Needs invoice and net-terms payment methods shown only to tagged company accounts, while retail buyers see standard card and wallet options.
Sells into several countries and wants region-appropriate local payment rails surfaced by buyer geography to lift trust and checkout completion.
Buy the license on ecosire.com and download the Conditional Payment Rules Engine module ZIP from your account dashboard.
Extract the ZIP into your Odoo custom addons folder on the server (or upload via Apps > Install from file on Odoo.sh / runbot).
Activate Developer Mode, open Apps, click Update Apps List, search for Conditional Payment Rules Engine, and press Install.
Open the new menu, paste your ECOSIRE license key, connect any external credentials (Shopify, Amazon, Stripe, etc.), and save.
Run the built-in connection test, sync your first 10 records, and schedule the recurring cron. Contact support if anything fails.

No. This is a build-to-order app. We scope your rules, build the app against your store, install it via a custom Shopify app using OAuth, and support it. There's an honest build and QA lead time before go-live — it is not a one-click App Store install.
Most builds go live within roughly 1–2 weeks of a confirmed rule set, depending on how many conditional rules and edge cases you need and your QA availability. After our scoping call we give you a firm date. Simpler single-condition setups are faster; layered B2B + geo + schedule logic takes longer to test.
Every build includes a post-launch support window to fix anything and fine-tune thresholds. ECOSIRE maintains compatibility as Shopify evolves its checkout and payment-customization APIs, and offers an optional ongoing maintenance arrangement for rule changes, new markets, and platform updates after the initial window.
Partly. Native Shopify and Shopify Plus let you reorder and apply some basic payment customizations. This app is worth it when your logic becomes conditional — by cart margin, customer segment, geography, or schedule — and needs to combine those conditions. If your needs are genuinely simple, we'll tell you and won't oversell a build.
Yes. It's built on Shopify's supported payment customization Functions, the same Checkout-Extensibility path Shopify uses for hiding and reordering payment methods — no checkout.liquid or theme hacks. That's the forward-compatible approach, which is why we don't implement it as brittle script injection.
No. Rules are evaluated server-side as a Shopify Function at checkout, so they're fast. We also build safe-fallback behavior: if a rule ever errors, checkout falls back to showing valid payment methods rather than blocking the buyer from paying.
