Coinbase Commerce Crypto Checkout is a build-to-order Shopify integration that adds self-custody crypto payments to your store. Shoppers pay in USDC, USDT, BTC or ETH across multiple chains, you keep full control of your wallet keys, and ECOSIRE handles the engineering, installation and support end-to-end.

This is not an instant App Store download. After purchase, our team builds the integration against your store, wires it into Shopify's payment flow, configures your Coinbase Commerce account, and installs it for you. You get a working, tested checkout — not a half-configured plugin you have to fight with.

Under the hood, the integration registers as a payment option and uses Shopify webhooks (orders/create, orders/paid) plus Coinbase Commerce charge webhooks to reconcile on-chain settlement. When a payment is confirmed on-chain for the required confirmations, the integration calls the Shopify Admin GraphQL API to mark the order paid and auto-capture it, so fulfillment can begin without manual checking. Payment state, charge IDs and transaction hashes are written to order metafields for a clean audit trail and easy reconciliation.

To handle crypto's price swings, charges are priced in your store currency and settled in stablecoins (USDC/USDT) where you choose, giving you volatility mitigation without holding volatile assets. Because settlement is self-custody, funds arrive in your own wallet — no third-party custodian holding your money.
