What this is

The Shopify Fulfillment Connector for Business Central is a custom-built AL extension that closes the gaps merchants hit when their fulfillment outgrows the base Microsoft Shopify connector. It synchronizes orders, inventory, prices, fulfillments and tracking bidirectionally between Shopify and Dynamics 365 Business Central, and — critically — it threads that flow through BC's real warehouse pick/pack/ship documents rather than just closing a sales order in one click.

This is not an instant AppSource download. ECOSIRE builds the extension to your store's exact catalog, location topology and fulfillment policy, then installs and supports it as a per-tenant extension on your Business Central environment (cloud or on-prem). You own a clean, upgrade-safe codebase — no tampering with base tables.

How it's built

The extension is pure AL: table and page extensions on Item, Sales Header/Line and Location; event subscribers on posting and warehouse activity codeunits; and a job-queue-driven sync engine that talks to the Shopify Admin REST/GraphQL API for orders, inventory levels, fulfillments and refunds. Inbound orders land as native BC sales orders with correct customer, tax and shipping-agent mapping. When a Warehouse Shipment or Posted Sales Shipment is created, an event subscriber writes the fulfillment and tracking number back to Shopify, marking the order shipped and emailing the buyer. Inventory deltas flow both directions per location, and Shopify refunds/returns post matching credit memos in BC.

Dedicated permission sets, a setup wizard, and a sync-log page ship with it. Optional Power Platform / Dataverse hooks let you surface fulfillment KPIs in Power BI. You get the source, a deployment runbook, and a support line.
