About this Product

The Multi-Carrier Shipping Hub turns the Business Central Warehouse Shipment, Sales Order, and Posted Sales Shipment into a parcel-shipping cockpit. Your ops team rate-shops across 400+ carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL Express, USPS, and regional carriers), buys the label, prints the customs paperwork and packing slip, and writes the tracking number straight back to the order — all without alt-tabbing into a carrier portal or a standalone shipping app.

This is a build-to-order extension, not an instant AppSource download. ECOSIRE develops it in AL against your tenant's data model, installs it as a per-tenant extension (or, where you prefer, packages it for your own AppSource private listing), and supports it on your environment. We integrate with a multi-carrier rating gateway of your choice — typically EasyPost, Shippo, or ShipEngine — so carrier accounts, negotiated rates, and label buying stay under your own contracts.

Technically, the app ships as table and page extensions over Sales Header/Line, Warehouse Shipment, and Package tracking, plus a "Shipping Rates" FactBox and a dedicated Shipping Hub role-centre page. Rate calls, label purchases, and tracking polls run through a hardened HTTP client and the carrier-gateway REST API; tracking-status refresh and customer notification emails run on the Job Queue. Event subscribers fire on shipment posting to capture the tracking number and trigger the email. We wire a least-privilege permission set, and — where you run Power Platform — surface rate and shipment data to Dataverse for Power BI dashboards and Power Automate flows.

We also track carrier-gateway API changes. Support and update terms are agreed as a maintenance arrangement after handover; the initial build includes the first round of fixes and a warranty window.

Do we use our own carrier accounts and negotiated rates?

Yes. The hub connects through a multi-carrier gateway (EasyPost, Shippo, or ShipEngine) configured with your own carrier accounts, so your negotiated UPS/FedEx/DHL/USPS rates flow through to rate shopping and label purchase. ECOSIRE never marks up your shipping; you pay carriers and the gateway directly under your contracts.

Will this conflict with our existing Business Central customisations or other extensions?

No — it installs as a separate per-tenant extension using table and page extensions and event subscribers, so it layers cleanly over base app and other extensions rather than modifying them. We install on your Sandbox first and run the Microsoft AppSource validation / per-tenant publish checks, then promote to Production once UAT passes. The handed-over AL source means you are never locked out of your own code.

Can shipping and freight data feed Power BI and Power Automate?

Yes. Where you run the Power Platform, we project rate quotes and shipment records to Dataverse so you can build Power BI freight-spend dashboards and trigger Power Automate flows (for example, alerting on a delayed delivery event). This is included as an option in the build; if you do not use Power Platform, the data stays native in Business Central and is reportable through the BC OData/API endpoints.
