Key Features

Menu and catalog sync from Shopify products, variants and collections to your Talabat storefront, including item images and descriptions
Real-time stock availability sync from Shopify multi-location inventory so sold-out items are marked unavailable on Talabat
Order import: Talabat orders are created as native Shopify orders with line items, customer, fees and notes for unified reporting and fulfillment
Modifier, option-set and combo-meal mapping between Shopify variants/metafields and Talabat's modifier model
Price and promotional sync so menu price changes and active offers stay consistent across both systems
Branch and location mapping — each Shopify location is mapped to its corresponding Talabat branch for correct routing
Order status callbacks (accepted, preparing, ready, picked up) written back to Talabat where the API supports them
Webhook-driven architecture using orders/create, products/update and inventory_levels/update for near-real-time updates
Talabat-specific identifiers, mappings and combo definitions stored in Shopify metafields — no spreadsheets or manual lookup tables
Custom Shopify app installed via OAuth against the Admin GraphQL API, scoped to only the permissions your store needs
Conflict and error handling with retry/backoff plus a sync log so failed pushes are visible and recoverable, not silent
Built, tested against your real catalog and branch structure, installed on your store, and supported by ECOSIRE after go-live

About this Product

Talabat / Food-Marketplace Integration connects your Shopify catalog and order pipeline with Talabat (and similar MENA aggregators where an API or partner feed is available) so your team manages one source of truth instead of re-keying menus across portals.

This is a build-to-order app, not an instant App Store download. After purchase, ECOSIRE configures a custom Shopify app against your store using OAuth and the Admin GraphQL API, maps your products, variants, and multi-location inventory to Talabat's branch and catalog model, and installs it on your store. We register webhooks (orders/create, inventory_levels/update, products/update) and use metafields to hold Talabat-specific identifiers, modifier-group mappings, and combo definitions that Shopify has no native field for.

What it does once live: pushes menu/catalog items and images to Talabat; keeps stock availability in sync from Shopify multi-location inventory so you stop overselling sold-out items; imports Talabat orders into Shopify as native orders for unified reporting and fulfillment; maps modifiers, options and combo meals between the two systems; syncs price and promo changes; maps each Shopify location to its Talabat branch; and writes order status callbacks (accepted, preparing, ready, picked up) back where the platform supports them.

We are honest about platform limits: Talabat marketplace API access is partner/credential-gated, and field-for-field parity depends on what their API exposes for your account. During scoping we confirm exactly which flows are achievable for your setup before you commit. ECOSIRE builds, installs, tests against your real catalog, and supports the integration — including adjustments when Shopify or Talabat change their APIs. Typical delivery is one working week depending on catalog size, branch count, and how much modifier/combo logic needs mapping.

What you get

  • A custom Shopify app (private/custom distribution) installed on your store via OAuth, scoped to required Admin API permissions
  • Configured menu/catalog, stock, price and order sync between Shopify and Talabat for your account
  • Branch-to-location mapping and modifier/combo mapping configured against your actual catalog
  • Metafield definitions holding Talabat identifiers and mapping data, documented for your team
  • A sync/error log and basic monitoring so failed syncs are visible and actionable
  • Handover documentation plus a walkthrough session covering day-to-day operation and troubleshooting
  • Post-launch support window with bug fixes and adjustments for Shopify/Talabat API changes (terms confirmed at scoping)

Who this is for

Multi-branch restaurant operator

Runs several locations listed on Talabat and sells direct through Shopify. Wants one place to update menus, prices and availability instead of editing each portal by hand and overselling sold-out dishes.

Grocery / dark-store manager

Manages a large SKU catalog with frequent stock changes. Needs Shopify multi-location inventory to drive Talabat availability automatically so out-of-stock items disappear from the marketplace in near-real-time.

Operations / e-commerce lead at a MENA F&B brand

Owns unified reporting and fulfillment. Wants Talabat orders flowing into Shopify as native orders so revenue, inventory and customer data live in one system rather than scattered across aggregator dashboards.

Frequently Asked Questions about Talabat / Food-Marketplace Integration

Is this an instant download from the Shopify App Store?

No. This is a build-to-order integration. After purchase, ECOSIRE scopes your requirements, builds a custom Shopify app against your store, maps your catalog and branches, tests it on your real data, and installs it for you. It is not a self-serve App Store listing.

How long does delivery take?

Typically one working week from kickoff, depending on catalog size, number of branches, and how much modifier/combo logic needs mapping. We confirm a firm timeline during scoping once we have seen your catalog and Talabat account access. Larger or multi-brand setups may take longer.

What ongoing support and updates do I get?

The build includes a post-launch support window with bug fixes and adjustments when Shopify or Talabat change their APIs. After that, you can continue on a support arrangement. Because both platforms evolve, ongoing maintenance is recommended rather than optional — exact terms are confirmed at scoping.

Do you guarantee every Talabat field and flow will sync?

No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Talabat marketplace API access is partner/credential-gated, and what can sync depends on what their API exposes for your specific account. During scoping we verify exactly which flows (catalog, stock, orders, status callbacks) are achievable for your setup before you commit.

What access do you need from me?

Collaborator or staff access to your Shopify store to install the custom app via OAuth, and your Talabat partner/API credentials (or an introduction to your Talabat account manager to obtain them). We request only the Admin API scopes the integration actually needs.
