Instrument and music-gear retailers on Reverb outgrow spreadsheet reconciliation fast. Every Reverb sale needs a Sales Order, stock has to drop the moment a guitar sells, listings drift out of sync with what ERPNext actually holds, and Reverb's settlement statements — with their marketplace fees, shipping labels and payout timing — never line up cleanly with your books. ERPNext ships a strong core (Sales Order, Delivery Note, Sales Invoice, Item, Bin-level stock, Payment Entry), but it has no native concept of a Reverb order, a Reverb listing, or Reverb's fee structure. That gap is where manual data entry, oversells and month-end reconciliation pain live.
Dedicated Frappe app with a `Reverb Integration` module and DocTypes: `Reverb Settings` (single), `Reverb Order`, `Reverb Listing`, `Reverb Sync Log`
Scheduler event polls the Reverb API on a configurable interval to pull new and updated orders into ERPNext
Inbound Reverb webhook endpoint (whitelisted) for near-real-time order capture where supported, with signature verification
Reverb order -> ERPNext Sales Order mapping with correct currency, taxes and a stored Reverb order id for idempotent, no-double-post retries
Optional auto-create of Delivery Note and Sales Invoice from the incoming order, per your fulfilment workflow
SKU-based listing-to-Item mapping table so Reverb listings resolve to the right ERPNext Item and warehouse
The ERPNext Reverb Connector is a purpose-built Frappe app that closes that gap. We install a proper app with its own module and DocTypes — Reverb Settings (single, holding OAuth credentials and sync toggles), Reverb Order, Reverb Listing and Reverb Sync Log — plus mapping tables that link Reverb listings to ERPNext Items by SKU. A scheduler_events job polls the Reverb API on a configurable interval to pull new and updated orders, while hooks.py doc_events on Item, Item Price and Stock Ledger fire writeback to Reverb when your inventory or pricing changes in ERPNext. Whitelisted methods (@frappe.whitelist()) expose a manual "sync now" and per-listing publish/edit actions, and inbound Reverb webhooks are received on a dedicated endpoint for near-real-time order capture where your Reverb account supports them.
Under the hood, an incoming Reverb order maps to a Sales Order (and optionally an auto-created Delivery Note and Sales Invoice) against a dedicated Reverb customer or per-buyer contact, with correct taxes, currency and a stored Reverb order id for idempotency so retries never double-post. Inventory is kept in two-way sync: when ERPNext stock changes via the Stock Ledger, available quantities push up to the matching Reverb listing, and when Reverb reports a sale, the connector reserves or consumes stock in ERPNext — with configurable buffer quantities to prevent overselling across channels. Price updates flow from ERPNext Item Price to Reverb listings. When you mark a shipment in ERPNext, tracking number and carrier are written back to Reverb to fulfil the order. Settlement statements are ingested and reconciled: marketplace fees, shipping charges and payouts are booked to the accounts you nominate so your Reverb revenue ties out to actual bank deposits.
Because every Reverb store, chart of accounts and warehouse setup is different, this is build-to-order — not a one-click marketplace download. After you request a quotation we run a short scoping call, confirm exactly which flows you need (order sync, listing management, inventory direction, settlement depth), and quote a fixed scope. Typical delivery is 2 to 4 weeks from confirmed scope. We build against Frappe/ERPNext v15 and v16, validate on a staging clone of your site through UAT, then install on production with a rollback plan, hand over the git repository and source, train your team, and back it with a post-go-live support window.
A guitar, synth or pro-audio shop whose primary sales channel is Reverb and who has moved bookkeeping and stock onto ERPNext. Needs every Reverb sale to become a Sales Order automatically and stock to drop in real time so the shop floor and the marketplace never disagree.
A dealer selling the same inventory across Reverb, a webstore and in person. Needs ERPNext as the single source of truth with two-way inventory and price sync plus buffer quantities so a sale on one channel never oversells another.
The person who closes the books and chases payouts. Needs Reverb settlement statements reconciled inside ERPNext — marketplace fees, shipping and payouts booked to the right accounts — so Reverb revenue ties out to actual bank deposits without a spreadsheet.
The in-house admin or partner running the Frappe site who wants a clean, maintainable app with proper DocTypes, hooks and a git handover, running on v15/v16, rather than brittle spreadsheets or ad-hoc server scripts.

| Criterion | ECOSIRE | Custom Build | Competitor | Odoo Native |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Reverb order sync | Purpose-built Reverb Order DocType with idempotent Sales Order creation | Possible but you design and maintain the mapping yourself | Generic marketplace app rarely covers Reverb specifically | |
| Two-way inventory & price | Stock Ledger doc_events push both ways with per-channel buffers | Build the hooks and buffer logic from scratch | Often one-way or channel-limited | |
| Settlement & fee reconciliation | Payout statements ingested and booked to your nominated accounts | Bespoke accounting logic you must scope and test | Usually absent or shallow | |
| Fit to your setup | Scoped to your CoA, warehouses, taxes and workflow | Fully bespoke but on your time and risk | Configure within the app's fixed assumptions | |
| Frappe v15/v16 support | Built and tested on both, with upgrade guidance | You own version compatibility | Varies; may lag ERPNext releases | |
| Delivery model | Build-to-order, 2-4 weeks from confirmed scope | Open-ended internal or contractor effort | Instant install but generic behaviour | |
| Source & ownership | Full source plus git repo handover — you own it | You own it, and its maintenance burden | Licensed, source often closed | |
| Support & maintenance | Post-go-live support window plus optional ongoing updates | Self-supported or contractor retainer | Vendor support tiers, not tailored to you |
No. It is build-to-order. ECOSIRE builds your version of the connector against your exact Reverb setup, chart of accounts and warehouse configuration, then installs and supports it. There is no instant download, and we do not claim one.
Typical delivery is 2 to 4 weeks from confirmed scope. After a short scoping call we quote a fixed scope; the timeline depends on how many flows you need (order sync, listing management, inventory direction, settlement reconciliation) and the state of your ERPNext data.
We build and test against Frappe/ERPNext v15 and v16. If you are on an older version we will tell you during scoping whether an upgrade is needed before installation.
The connector keeps ERPNext and Reverb quantities in sync two-way via Stock Ledger doc_events, and supports per-channel buffer quantities so a configurable safety margin is held back on Reverb. Sales on either side adjust available stock so the marketplace listing reflects real ERPNext availability.
The app ingests Reverb payout statements and books marketplace fees, shipping charges and payouts to the accounts you nominate, matching them against the corresponding Sales Invoices so your Reverb revenue reconciles to the bank deposits you actually receive.
You receive the full source code and a git repository handover, so you own your version outright. The build includes a post-go-live support window for fixes and adjustments; beyond that we offer ongoing support and compatibility updates (for example when Reverb's API or ERPNext versions change) as a separate arrangement.
We validate everything on a staging clone of your site through UAT before touching production, and we cut over with a documented rollback plan. All API activity is recorded in a Reverb Sync Log DocType with retry handling, so failures are visible and recoverable rather than silent.
