Every scan resolves through a custom Labor Entry table that knows whether time is direct (booked to a Production Order routing line / operation) or indirect (setup, maintenance, cleaning, meetings), and applies your pay rules — shift differentials, overtime thresholds, and break deductions.
Direct labor flows into the production order via event subscribers on Manufacturing capacity ledger and item ledger posting, so your Cost is Right without re-keying. Attendance hours roll up into a daily timecard your supervisors review, edit, and approve through a Business Central approval workflow before they export to payroll.
