Yes, Odoo Community Edition has zero license fees — you can download and use it at no cost. However, you will need to budget for server hosting (Odoo publishes no hosting price for Community, so it runs on your own server or with a hosting provider), implementation consulting, and ongoing support or developer time.
What modules are missing in Odoo Community vs Enterprise?
Odoo Community lacks Studio (visual customization), IoT, helpdesk, marketing automation, quality management, planning, rental, fleet management, documents, and knowledge base. It also lacks official SLA-backed support.
Should I choose Odoo Community or Enterprise?
Choose Community if you have in-house developers, need only basic modules (CRM, sales, accounting, inventory), and want zero license costs. Choose Enterprise if you need advanced modules, official support, and faster implementation with Studio.
How much does it cost to host Odoo Community?
Odoo publishes no hosting price for Community: odoo.com/pricing offers Odoo Online and Odoo.sh only as part of its own plans (checked 2026-10-21).
