This is a build-to-order app — not an instant App Store install. After purchase, ECOSIRE scopes your requirements, builds the app against your theme and Shopify configuration, installs it on your store via a custom OAuth app, and hands it over working. Honest delivery lead time applies (see FAQ).
How it works technically. A protection fee — fixed (e.g. $1.98) or percentage-based (e.g. 2% of cart subtotal) — is injected at the cart level using a Cart Transform Function (Shopify Functions) or a managed protection variant, so the fee survives to checkout and lands cleanly on the order. An opt-in/opt-out theme app extension widget lets shoppers toggle coverage; you style it to match your brand. Protection state is written to order metafields so every protected order is queryable and auditable.
When a customer reports a lost, stolen or damaged package, they file through a built-in claims portal. Your team reviews the claim and resolves it with one click — reorder (drafts a replacement order via the Admin GraphQL API, respecting multi-location inventory) or refund (issues through the Refund API). Order and fulfillment webhooks keep claim eligibility in sync.
