Selling on Shein's marketplace means living in two systems at once. Your product master, stock levels and fulfilment run in Odoo, while listings, orders and shipment confirmations live in Shein's seller portal. Without a bridge, someone re-keys new orders into sale.order, watches stock.quant drift out of sync, and manually confirms shipments and pastes tracking numbers back into Shein one at a time. Odoo core has no Shein integration, and its native e-commerce (website_sale) only powers your own storefront, not a third-party marketplace API. The Shein Marketplace Connector is a custom Odoo module ECOSIRE builds for your account. It adds a dedicated Shein integration model layer (models.Model records that hold your API credentials, catalog mapping and sync state), authenticates against Shein's Open Platform API, and moves data both ways on a schedule you control. Product publication pushes product.template/product.variant data — titles, descriptions, images, variant axes (size/color) and prices — into Shein listings through a category and attribute mapping layer, so your Odoo variants land in the correct Shein category with the right required attributes. Incoming orders are imported as native sale.order records with the customer, SKU lines and marketplace reference intact, ready to flow through your existing delivery and invoicing workflow.

Technically, the connector is built to Odoo conventions so it stays maintainable and upgrade-safe. Sync jobs run through ir.cron scheduled actions with idempotent, resumable logic and structured logging, so a dropped API call or rate-limit doesn't double-import an order. Access is locked down with ir.model.access.csv plus record rules scoped to the right groups, and configuration lives in clean backend views (XML, with OWL components where an interactive mapping screen helps). Inventory and price sync reads live stock.quant availability and your pricelist, pushing updates to Shein so listings reflect real stock; shipment confirmation reads the validated stock.picking, marks the Shein order fulfilled and uploads the carrier and tracking number automatically. Every integration point uses Shein's official REST API on our side and Odoo's ORM (with XML-RPC/JSON-RPC available for any external orchestration), never raw SQL against Odoo tables.
