About this Product
Fine dining runs on a rhythm that generic restaurant software never captures. A single cover moves through an amuse-bouche, multiple plated courses, a wine pairing, and a considered dessert — each fired to the pass on the sommelier's and captain's timing, not when a ticket happens to print. Guests carry allergen profiles, dietary preferences, VIP history, and seating expectations that must follow them from the reservation book to the table to the kitchen printer. Out of the box, Odoo POS and its restaurant features model tables, orders, and payments competently, but they treat a check as a flat list of lines. There is no native concept of coursing and firing, no structured allergen matrix tied to product variants, no pacing between courses, and no way to reconcile a tasting-menu prix fixe against à la carte substitutions on the same table.
This is where a typical off-the-shelf apps.odoo.com restaurant module also runs out of road: it bolts on delivery, self-order kiosks, or generic table management, but it does not encode the service choreography that defines a fine dining room. ECOSIRE builds a dedicated module that models these concepts as first-class ORM objects. We add models.Model records for course sequences, service pacing, allergen and dietary tags, and wine-pairing lines, with compute fields (@api.depends) that roll a table's coursing state up to a live pass display and flag allergen conflicts before a plate leaves the kitchen. Reservation records are extended with guest-preference and VIP fields that propagate to the POS session, so the captain sees the full guest context at the table. QWeb reports produce clean printed check presentations, kitchen firing tickets per course, and end-of-night covers-and-turns reporting for the floor manager.
Technically, the build ships as a proper Odoo addon: a versioned __manifest__.py declaring dependencies on point_of_sale and the reservation/CRM layers, security through ir.model.access.csv plus record rules so floor, kitchen, and management roles see only what their station requires, XML/OWL views for the POS and back-office screens, and ir.cron / automated actions for pacing reminders and no-show handling. Where you already integrate a card processor, a reservation channel, or an accounting localization, we wire them through Odoo's XML-RPC/JSON-RPC API rather than forking core. The module is built and tested against your exact Odoo line — 17.0, 18.0, or 19.0 — and we are explicit about Community vs Enterprise: features that lean on Enterprise-only apps (studio-style customizations, advanced accounting, IoT kitchen printers) are called out during scoping so nothing is promised that your edition cannot run.
Delivery is build-to-order. After a short scoping call we confirm the exact models, roles, reports, and integrations in a written scope, then build, test on a staging copy of your database, and hand over installable source with documentation and training. Typical delivery is one working week from confirmed scope, depending on integration count and data migration. Pricing starts from $999 (indicative, single-company base scope); multi-company or multi-venue rollouts, deeper POS-hardware and reservation-channel integrations, and fiscal/localization depth increase the quoted scope. You receive a fixed quote after the scoping call — the from-price is a starting point, never the final number.
What you get

Who this is for
Restaurant Owner / General Manager
Runs one or more fine dining rooms on Odoo and needs the POS and reservation flow to match how the house actually serves — coursing, pacing, guest history — instead of bending the operation to fit generic software.
Head Sommelier / Beverage Director
Wants wine pairings tied to courses, by-the-glass and bottle handling at the POS, and pairing context surfaced to the table so beverage service keeps pace with the kitchen.
Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager
Needs per-course firing tickets, allergen conflict flags before plates leave the pass, and station-level ticketing that reflects real service order rather than a flat item list.
Odoo Administrator / IT Lead
Owns the Odoo instance and wants a clean, version-targeted addon with proper access rules and API-based integrations — no core patches — plus source, docs, and a repo handover they can maintain.
How Fine Dining Restaurant Compares
| Criterion | ECOSIRE | Custom Build | Competitor | Odoo Native |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coursing & firing | First-class course model with per-line hold/fire to the pass | Possible but you design and build it from scratch | Usually absent — checks are flat item lists | No concept of coursing; an order is one list of lines |
| Allergen & dietary handling | Structured matrix on variants with pre-fire conflict flags | Achievable with significant in-house modeling effort | At best a free-text note, not enforced | Product notes only; no guest-profile matching |
| Wine pairing | Pairing lines tied to courses, glass/bottle logic at POS | Buildable but rarely prioritized in a DIY effort | Generic product lines, no course linkage | Just another POS product, no pairing structure |
| Fit to fine dining service | Modeled around captain, sommelier, kitchen, pacing | As good as your team's restaurant domain knowledge | Aimed at casual/QSR/delivery, not fine dining | Generic table and payment handling |
| Integrations | API-based hooks to reservation, payment, localization | You build and maintain each connector yourself | Fixed integration set, often not yours | Only Odoo's built-in connectors |
| Ownership & source | Full source plus git repo handover, you own it | You own it but carry all build cost and risk | Licensed binary/addon, limited to vendor roadmap | Core code you shouldn't patch directly |
| Support & delivery | Scoped build, UAT on staging, post-go-live window | Depends entirely on in-house capacity | Forum or ticket support, no tailored onboarding | No fine-dining-specific support at all |
| Version targeting | Built and tested for your 17.0/18.0/19.0 line | You handle version compatibility yourself | Whatever versions the listing happens to cover | N/A — it is the base platform |
Frequently Asked Questions about Fine Dining Restaurant
Is this an existing app I can download and install today?
No. This is a build-to-order module. ECOSIRE scopes it to your establishment, then builds, tests, installs, and supports it. There is no instant download — you receive installable source and a running configuration on your instance after the build.
How long does delivery take?
Typical delivery is one working week from confirmed scope. The exact timeline depends on how many integrations (reservation channel, card processor, accounting localization) and how much data migration are in scope. We commit to dates in writing once the scope is signed off.
How does pricing and scoping work?
Pricing starts from $999 as an indicative single-company base scope. Multi-venue rollouts, deeper POS-hardware and reservation integrations, and localization depth increase it. We hold a short scoping call, confirm the exact models, roles, reports, and integrations, then give you a fixed quote — the from-price is a starting point, not the final figure.
Which Odoo versions and editions are supported?
We build and test against Odoo 17.0, 18.0, or 19.0 — your exact line. During scoping we flag any capability that depends on Enterprise-only apps (for example advanced accounting or IoT kitchen printers) so nothing is promised that your Community or Enterprise edition cannot run.
What kind of support and updates do I get after go-live?
Every build includes a post-go-live support window for defect fixes and configuration adjustments. Beyond that window, or when you upgrade to a new Odoo major version, we quote maintenance or a version migration separately. You own the source and the git repository either way.
Will this break when I upgrade Odoo or interfere with my other apps?
The module is a standalone addon with its own models and views, and integrations run through the XML-RPC/JSON-RPC API rather than patching core, so it coexists cleanly with your existing apps. Odoo major-version upgrades are handled as a scoped migration since core APIs change between releases.
Do you customize the coursing, allergen, and pairing logic to our menu?
Yes. The course sequences, allergen and dietary tags, prix-fixe handling, and wine-pairing structure are configured to your menu and service style during the build. That configuration and the training session are part of the deliverables.

- Course-sequencing model with per-line firing state, so a tasting menu and à la carte substitutions coexist on one table order and fire to the pass in service order
- Structured allergen and dietary matrix as `many2many` tags on product variants, with a compute field that flags conflicts against the guest's stored profile before the plate is fired
- Service-pacing engine driven by `ir.cron`/automated actions that nudges the pass when a course has been held too long or a table is falling behind rhythm
- Wine-pairing lines linked to course records, with by-the-glass vs bottle handling and pairing suggestions surfaced at the POS
