A build-to-order Odoo module that generates branded customer account statements, running ledgers, and aged-overdue reports straight from your receivables. ECOSIRE scopes, builds, installs, and supports it on Odoo 17/18/19 after you request a quotation.
No DIY setup — a working app, built, installed and supported by ECOSIRE.
Start with a one-time build price. We scope it with you at kickoff.
ECOSIRE builds, configures and installs it on your Odoo.
You go live in about 2–4 weeks, with a post-launch support window.
Finance teams running Odoo hit the same wall every month-end: a customer asks "what exactly do I owe you?" and there is no single, dated, opening-to-closing document to send them. Odoo core gives you the Partner Ledger and the Aged Receivable report, but those are internal accounting views — they show reconciled journal items, not a clean, branded statement a customer can read, dispute, or pay against. Teams end up exporting to spreadsheets, hand-assembling statements, and chasing overdue balances from memory. That manual loop is slow, error-prone, and it delays cash collection.
This is a made-to-order module that ECOSIRE builds for your Odoo instance to close that gap. At its core it adds a statement engine that reads posted account.move.line entries against receivable accounts, groups them per res.partner (with configurable child-contact and commercial-entity roll-up), and renders a running-balance statement as a QWeb PDF: opening balance, every invoice, credit note, and payment in date order, then a closing balance, in the customer's currency with multi-currency handled correctly. Alongside it we build an aged-overdue report bucketed (current / 30 / 60 / 90 / 90+, or your own buckets) with a compute layer using @api.depends on date_maturity so the ageing recomputes reliably, plus a detailed customer ledger view for internal drill-down.
Technically it ships as a real module, not a report tweak. A dedicated transient wizard model (models.TransientModel) drives statement generation with date-range, partner, aging-date and open-items-only filters; the QWeb templates live in versioned XML you own; access is locked down with ir.model.access.csv plus record rules so a salesperson only sees their own customers' statements. We wire an optional scheduled automated action (ir.cron) that emails statements on a cadence you define through Odoo's native mail templates, and expose the generator over the standard XML-RPC/JSON-RPC API so your portal, website, or an external collections tool can pull a customer's current statement on demand. Where your edition allows it, follow-up and reminder hooks integrate with the accounting follow-up flow (Enterprise) or a lighter self-contained reminder path (Community) — we confirm which during scoping.
Because every receivables setup is different — tax display, currency rounding, branch/analytic segmentation, PDF letterhead, dispute notes — this is built to your confirmed scope rather than shipped as a one-size-fits-all download. After a short scoping call we lock a fixed written quote, build on a branch, and hand over installable source. Typical delivery is 2–4 weeks from confirmed scope. Pricing starts from $249 (indicative, single-company base scope); multi-company consolidation, multi-currency revaluation depth, extra languages, custom aging logic, and API/portal integrations increase the quoted scope.
Owns cash collection and needs a defensible, branded statement to send customers and an accurate aging report to prioritize chasing. Wants one-click and scheduled generation instead of month-end spreadsheet assembly.
Needs reconciled, auditable statements that tie back to journal items and correct multi-currency handling. Cares about record-rule segregation so reps only see their own customers and about clean handover documentation.
Maintains the instance and wants a properly packaged module with `ir.model.access.csv`, versioned QWeb XML, and a git repo — not a database-side hack — so upgrades across 17/18/19 stay clean.
Runs a lean team where late payments hurt cash flow. Wants automated, scheduled statement emails and a simple aging view without hiring a full-time accountant or maintaining custom code.
| Criterion | ECOSIRE | Custom Build | Competitor | Odoo Native |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fit to your receivables & branding | Built to your confirmed scope, letterhead, and aging rules | Fully bespoke but you own all analysis and risk | Generic layout, limited to its built-in options | |
| Customer-facing statement PDF | Branded QWeb statement, opening-to-closing running balance | Whatever you build and maintain yourself | Standard template, hard to restyle | |
| Aged-overdue reporting | Configurable buckets, compute layer, PDF/XLSX export | Build and test your own aging logic | Fixed buckets, little tailoring | |
| Automation & scheduled emailing | Optional `ir.cron` + mail templates by segment | You design and maintain the cron yourself | Sometimes present, rarely segment-aware | |
| Security & access control | `ir.model.access.csv` + record rules per rep/team | Depends entirely on your implementation | Basic access, coarse-grained | |
| API / integration | XML-RPC/JSON-RPC endpoint for portal or collections tools | Possible but another thing to build | Usually none | |
| Support & maintenance | Post-go-live window + git handover + version upgrades | Entirely on your team | Vendor-dependent, tickets in a queue | |
| Cost & delivery model | Fixed quote after scoping, from $249 indicative, 2–4 weeks | Open-ended dev time and budget | Low sticker price, hidden fit/rework cost |
No. This is a build-to-order module. ECOSIRE scopes it with you, builds it against your Odoo version and receivables setup, then installs and supports it. You are commissioning a made-to-order solution, not buying an instant download.
Typical delivery is 2–4 weeks from confirmed scope. After the scoping call we lock a written quote and timeline; the range depends on multi-company consolidation, custom aging logic, integrations, and how much UAT feedback comes back.
Pricing starts from $249 as an indicative single-company base scope. We hold a short scoping call, then issue a fixed written quote before any build starts. Drivers like multi-company, multi-currency depth, extra languages, custom aging, and API/portal integrations increase the quoted scope — but the quote you approve is fixed.
Every build includes a post-go-live support window for defect fixes and configuration tweaks. Because you receive the git repository and full source, you can maintain it yourself or retain us for ongoing support and version upgrades across Odoo 17/18/19.
Both. The core statement, ledger, and aging features work on Community and Enterprise. Some follow-up/reminder integrations rely on Enterprise accounting features — where you run Community we build a self-contained reminder path instead. We confirm exactly what applies during scoping.
Yes. The engine reads posted journal items and renders in the partner currency with company-currency reconciliation, and the open-items mode nets payments against invoices so partial settlements show correct residual balances rather than gross amounts.
Yes, if it is in scope. We can wire an `ir.cron` automated action that generates and emails statements on your chosen cadence using Odoo mail templates, targeted by customer tag, sales team, or segment.
