The Magento 2 Customer-Facing Display (CFD) turns any spare monitor or tablet at your point of sale into a transparent, branded second screen that faces the shopper while your cashier rings up the order. As items are scanned into the cart, the display mirrors each line, the running subtotal, applied tax and every discount in real time — so the customer sees exactly what they are paying for before they pay.

This is a real Magento 2 module that installs under app/code/Ecosire/CustomerDisplay, registered the standard way via registration.php and etc/module.xml. The cart-mirroring layer is wired through di.xml plugins (interceptors) on the quote and POS order flows plus observers on sales_quote_item_set_product and discount/tax collection events, so totals stay consistent with Magento's own collectors rather than being re-computed. A lightweight authenticated endpoint (REST plus an optional GraphQL resolver) streams the active quote to the second screen; ACL entries under Ecosire_CustomerDisplay::config gate every admin setting.
