The B2B Marketplace (Supplier Network) turns a Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce storefront into a wholesale multi-supplier marketplace, where independent suppliers register, run their own storefronts, and transact with buyers through quotation and quick-order workflows.

This is a build-to-order engineering engagement, not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download. ECOSIRE builds the extension as proper modules under app/code/Ecosire/*, then installs, configures, and supports it on your Magento install — Open Source or Adobe Commerce, on-prem or cloud.

The module ships as conventional Magento components: a registration.php + module.xml, dependency injection wired through di.xml, plugins/interceptors and observers on core sales and customer events, service contracts (PHP interfaces under Api/ with Api/Data/ DTOs) so logic stays decoupled from controllers, and admin ACL resources gating every supplier-management screen. Supplier and buyer interactions are exposed over both REST and GraphQL for headless/PWA storefronts.

Both. The module is built with standard Magento 2 architecture (service contracts, di.xml, plugins, observers, ACL, cron, GraphQL/REST) so it runs on Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce alike. If you are on Adobe Commerce we can integrate with native B2B features (company accounts, shared catalogs, native Quote where it fits); on Open Source we provide the equivalent RFQ workflow ourselves. We confirm your exact version and edition during scoping.

How does the request-for-quote workflow actually function?

A buyer requests a quote on one or more SKUs from a specific supplier. That creates an RFQ thread (backed by a service contract, not a raw controller hack) where the supplier responds with negotiated pricing and terms. Quotes have an expiry handled by cron, and an accepted quote converts into a standard Magento quote/order so checkout, tax, and invoicing all flow through core. Buyer and supplier are notified by email at each step.

What about ongoing support and updates after launch?

Every build includes a support window for bug fixes and minor adjustments. Because we use plugins/interceptors and observers rather than core class overrides, the module is upgrade-friendly — when you apply Magento patches or minor version upgrades we can validate and re-test the extension under a support or retainer arrangement. We do not silently auto-push changes to your production store; updates are deployed with your approval, staging first.

Can suppliers and the marketplace be driven from a headless / PWA storefront?

Yes. Supplier listings, RFQ submission, quick order, and messaging are exposed over REST and GraphQL, so a PWA Studio or custom headless front end can drive the full workflow. We provide the GraphQL schema and resolvers as part of the build when a headless front end is in scope; otherwise we ship Luma/theme templates matched to your active theme.
