PayTabs Payment Gateway is a build-to-order Magento 2 extension that connects your Adobe Commerce or Magento Open Source checkout to PayTabs, the payment processor widely used across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the wider Gulf. This is not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download — ECOSIRE builds the module, installs it on your Magento instance, configures it against your PayTabs merchant profile, and supports it afterwards.

The extension ships as a proper Magento module under app/code/Ecosire/PayTabs, registered through registration.php and module.xml. Payment behaviour is wired with service contracts and dependency injection (di.xml), the gateway command pool (CommandPoolInterface, Gateway\Http\Client) and Magento's payment_method config, so authorize, capture and refund flow through the standard Magento\Payment framework rather than bolted-on hacks. Both hosted (redirect) checkout and embedded/iframe checkout are supported, with 3D Secure handled by PayTabs.

A signed server-to-server webhook controller confirms transaction status and updates the order via Magento events and observers, so a closed browser never leaves an order stuck. Admins capture and refund directly from the order view (guarded by admin ACL resources), with full transaction records under Sales. Multi-currency routing maps Magento store currencies to your PayTabs profile.

What do I need from PayTabs before you start?

How are updates and ongoing support handled?
