ECOSIRE built a custom marketplace connector for Odoo 19 with scheduled jobs covering orders, deliveries, products, customers, refunds, payouts and more. Settlement matching reconciles each payout automatically — using reference, prefix and exact-amount strategies — and posts one aggregate fee/adjustment journal entry per invoice date so the books follow the matching principle. A backlog of thousands of historical orders and missing purchase orders was recovered to bring every payout to full reconciliation.
A high-volume marketplace drop-ship operation generated far more orders, deliveries and refunds than anyone could enter or reconcile by hand without falling behind.
Each marketplace payout bundled many orders plus fees and adjustments. Matching a settlement back to its invoices and proving it netted to zero was slow and error-prone manually.
Marketplace fees and adjustments were being booked to the payout date rather than the invoice date, breaking the matching principle and forcing the bookkeeper to hand-edit dozens of journal entries every quarter.
