About this Product

This is a build-to-order Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce extension, not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download. ECOSIRE engineers, installs, and supports a custom Ecosire_Marketplace module set under app/code on your own Magento install — wired to your theme, payment methods, and tax rules — then hands you a working Amazon-style marketplace.

The module introduces a seller entity with its own service contracts (SellerRepositoryInterface), database tables via declarative db_schema.xml, and admin grids backed by UI components. Vendors register through a frontend portal, and a configurable approval workflow (driven by observers on customer_register_success and a dedicated admin ACL resource) gates who can sell. Each seller gets an SEO-friendly profile and collection page with its own URL rewrite, storefront reviews, and rating aggregation.

Sellers manage their own catalog — simple, configurable, virtual, and downloadable product types — through a restricted seller dashboard built with plugins/interceptors that scope ProductRepository queries to the logged-in vendor. Orders are split per seller at checkout via a quote_submit observer, so each vendor sees only their line items, fulfils and ships independently, and updates tracking.

Commission and payout management is the commercial core: per-seller or per-category commission rules, a ledger table reconciled on sales_order_invoice_pay, and a cron job (crontab.xml) that aggregates payable balances for export to your gateway of choice. Everything is exposed over REST and GraphQL so headless/PWA Studio storefronts and mobile apps can read seller and commission data.

How are commissions collected and vendors paid out?

Commission rules are configurable per seller or per category. A ledger table reconciles each invoiced order and a cron job aggregates payable balances. Payouts are exported to the gateway you use — we wire the aggregation and export to your chosen provider during the build. Automated split-payment at checkout can be scoped as an add-on if your gateway supports it.
