External marketplaces are where your customers already shop — but Dynamics 365 Commerce / Finance & Operations only natively understands its own retail channels: online stores and brick-and-mortar stores. There is no out-of-the-box concept of "Amazon" or "Walmart Marketplace" as a channel you can publish assortments to, settle statements from, or fulfil against shared inventory.
This is a build-to-order extension that ECOSIRE designs, builds, installs and supports directly on your Dynamics 365 F&O / Commerce environment. We model each marketplace as a dedicated retail channel inside the Commerce data model, so marketplace orders land as channel sales orders that respect your existing pricing, tax, warehouse and posting setup — not as a bolt-on import sitting outside the ledger.
The connector publishes catalog and assortment data to your chosen marketplace via its API, pulls orders down through the Commerce Data Exchange / async order flow, reflects centralized on-hand inventory across stores and marketplaces, and posts settlement statements into F&O so finance reconciles marketplace payouts against actual sales. Returns and exchanges are handled cross-channel, so a marketplace order can be returned to a physical store and credited correctly.
Because this is bespoke, the build is scoped to the exact marketplaces you sell on, your number plus sequences, your dimension framework, and your fulfilment topology. We deliver it as a per-tenant extension package (not a public AppSource listing), deploy it through your sandbox first, validate against real order and statement data, then promote to production. ECOSIRE retains the source and provides ongoing support and updates as marketplace APIs change.
No instant download — this is a delivered, supported engagement on your environment.
Runs the company's online and marketplace sales and needs marketplace orders to flow into the same D365 Commerce engine as stores and the webshop — with one view of inventory and no manual order re-keying.
Owns the retail data model and is wary of bolt-on imports. Wants marketplaces modeled as proper channels using supported extension patterns, deployed sandbox-first, so upgrades and Microsoft service updates don't break.
Needs marketplace settlements, commissions and fees posted into F&O so payouts reconcile against recognized revenue, and returns credited correctly across channels at period close.

No. This is a build-to-order engagement. ECOSIRE scopes, builds, installs and supports the connector as a per-tenant extension on your own Dynamics 365 F&O / Commerce environment. We deploy to your sandbox first, validate against real order and settlement data, then promote to production. There is no public AppSource listing — the solution is tailored to the marketplaces, number sequences, dimensions and fulfilment topology you actually run.
A typical single-marketplace build is delivered in roughly 3 to 6 weeks from kickoff: discovery and channel mapping, build in a sandbox, a validation run reconciling orders/inventory/settlements, then production promotion and handover. Multi-marketplace or complex fulfilment scopes extend that. We confirm a firm timeline after a short scoping call — we won't quote a date before we understand your environment.
The marketplaces with a documented seller/listings API — for example Amazon (SP-API), eBay, Walmart Marketplace and similar — are in scope. Each marketplace's API is integrated as part of the build, so the contracted marketplaces are fixed in the statement of work. Adding a new marketplace later is a follow-on engagement that reuses the same channel framework, so it's faster than the first.
ECOSIRE. We retain the source and provide an ongoing support and update agreement. Marketplace APIs and Microsoft's Commerce/F&O platform both change on their own cadence, so the agreement covers API contract updates, fixes, and revalidation against your environment after major Microsoft service updates. You're not left maintaining bespoke integration code in-house.
We build using supported extension and event-handler patterns and extend core retail objects rather than modifying them destructively, which is the safest position for Microsoft's continuous-update model. We deploy and test in your sandbox first on every change. As part of the support agreement we revalidate the connector against major platform updates so you're not caught out at a One Version service update.
