The extension adds table and page extensions to Marketing Lists / Segments and the Contact card, plus a dedicated Campaign page where marketers select a segment, pick an approved WhatsApp message template (or a plain SMS body), and schedule the send. Outbound messages are dispatched through your chosen provider — the WhatsApp Business Cloud API (Meta) for WhatsApp and a configurable SMS gateway such as Twilio or a regional aggregator — via secure HTTP calls from AL codeunits. Long-running sends are throttled and queued through the BC Job Queue so a 50,000-recipient broadcast never blocks a user session.
Delivery, read, and reply status flow back through provider webhooks into a custom Message Log table, giving you per-recipient analytics directly on the campaign and contact records. Opt-out and consent are first-class: every contact carries channel-level consent flags, STOP/keyword unsubscribes are processed automatically, and suppressed contacts are excluded at send time.
