Retail Analytics & Store Dashboard is a custom Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central extension that turns your live sales, inventory and POS data into the store-performance metrics retail and hospitality leaders actually run on — without you building a single report.

This is not an instant AppSource download. ECOSIRE designs, develops and installs this as a per-tenant AL extension directly on your Business Central environment (cloud or on-prem), tuned to your chart of accounts, item categories, store dimensions and POS feed. We deploy it, validate it against your data, hand over the permission sets, and support it after go-live.

Under the hood it ships as a clean AL package: table extensions on Sales Line, Item Ledger Entry and POS transaction tables; page extensions and dedicated Role Center pages hosting the dashboards; and event subscribers that compute basket size, conversion, gross margin and markdown without altering posting logic. KPI aggregation runs on a scheduled job queue entry so the Role Center stays fast even on large transaction volumes.

Dashboards cover sales and conversion, store and channel comparison, gross-margin and markdown analysis, hourly heatmaps with staff performance, and top/bottom SKU and category movers. Data is exposed through custom API pages (OData v4 / REST) so the same KPIs flow into Power BI and the Power Platform via Dataverse, or into your own warehouse — no screen-scraping.

Because it is per-tenant, your dimensions, store structure and margin rules are first-class, not forced into a generic template. You own the install; ECOSIRE owns the build quality, the AppSource-grade technical validation, and the ongoing fixes and version bumps as you upgrade Business Central.

Is this an AppSource app I can install instantly?

No. It is a build-to-order extension. ECOSIRE develops it as a per-tenant AL extension and installs it directly on your Business Central environment, configured against your stores, dimensions and margin rules. There is no public AppSource one-click download for it.

How long does delivery take after I order?

Typical lead time is about 2 to 3 weeks from kickoff. We confirm your store structure, dimensions, POS feed and margin definitions, build and validate the extension against a sandbox copy of your data, then install on production with you. Complex multi-entity or heavily customized tenants can extend this, and we tell you the honest estimate before we start.

What ongoing support and updates do I get?

Your purchase includes a post-go-live support window covering bug fixes and a Business Central version-compatibility check so the extension keeps working through your next BC upgrade. Beyond that window, ECOSIRE offers ongoing support and enhancement on request. Because it is your per-tenant extension, you are never blocked by a third-party publisher's roadmap.

Will this change my existing posting or financial data?

No. The extension reads from existing tables (Sales Line, Item Ledger Entry, POS transactions) and uses event subscribers and table extensions to aggregate KPIs into its own objects. It does not alter base-app posting logic or your financial figures — it only computes and displays analytics on top of them.

Can the KPIs feed Power BI or the Power Platform?

Yes. We expose every KPI through custom API pages (OData v4 / REST), so the same data flows into Power BI, into the Power Platform and Dataverse, or into your own data warehouse. An optional Power BI report pack wired to those API pages can be included.
