Most POS apps on AppSource are retail tills with a "tables" checkbox bolted on. Under the hood it uses table and page extensions to model floors, tables, open checks, courses and modifier groups; event subscribers to post finalized checks into BC Sales documents so revenue, tax and COGS flow into the standard ledger with zero re-keying.
