Order Tagger & Fulfillment Automation is a Shopify app built to order by ECOSIRE — not an instant App Store download. After purchase, our engineers build it against your fulfillment logic, install it on your store via a custom OAuth app, and support it. You get an automation engine that triages every order the moment it lands, so your ops team stops copy-pasting tags and chasing exceptions.
Rule-based order tagging on `orders/create` / `orders/updated` / `orders/paid` webhooks, evaluating line items, SKUs, destination, shipping method, order value, payment method and metafields
Automatic routing of orders to the correct fulfillment location using Shopify multi-location inventory
Order splitting into multiple fulfillment orders (e.g. dropship vs. in-warehouse SKUs) via the Admin GraphQL fulfillment-order APIs
High-risk / fraud holds that read Shopify risk signals and place orders on hold or flag them for manual review before they reach your 3PL
Priority and SLA flags written as order tags and/or metafields for same-day, expedited, or VIP handling
Bulk retro-tagging job to apply new or revised rules across historical orders so reporting stays consistent
The app subscribes to Shopify's orders/create, orders/updated and orders/paid webhooks, then evaluates each order against the rule set you define — line items, SKUs, destination country/province, shipping method, order value, payment method, risk level, tags, and metafields. Matching rules apply order, customer and product tags, set priority/SLA flags, and can route the order to the correct fulfillment location using Shopify multi-location inventory, or split a single order into multiple fulfillment orders (e.g. dropship SKUs vs. warehouse stock).
High-risk orders are read from Shopify's fraud signals and held automatically — placed on hold or flagged for manual review before they reach your 3PL. A bulk retro-tagging job lets you apply new rules across historical orders so your reporting and segments stay consistent. Every write goes through the Admin GraphQL API with idempotency, so re-processing never double-tags.
Because it's custom-built, the rule logic mirrors how your warehouse actually works — no forcing your process into a generic app's templates. ECOSIRE handles the build, the install, a walkthrough, and ongoing support. We're honest about the trade-off: this is a tailored engagement with a real delivery lead time, scoped to your store, not a one-click plugin.
Runs a high-volume store where staff manually tag and sort orders before they hit the warehouse or 3PL. Wants every order auto-triaged the second it lands so the team works exceptions, not the whole queue.
Ships from several warehouses or mixes in-house stock with dropship suppliers. Needs orders routed to the right location and split cleanly into fulfillment orders without anyone deciding by hand.
Wants high-risk and fraud-flagged orders held automatically before they're picked and packed, plus consistent tags so revenue, region and SLA reporting actually reconciles.

No. This is a build-to-order app. After purchase, ECOSIRE builds it around your specific tagging, routing, splitting and hold rules, then installs it on your store via a scoped custom OAuth app. It is not a one-click plugin you self-install from the Shopify App Store.
Most builds are delivered in roughly 1–3 weeks after we confirm your rule matrix, depending on how many rules, routing locations and split scenarios you need. We give you a firm timeline once scope is agreed; a simple tagging-only setup is faster, while multi-location routing plus order splitting and bulk retro-tagging takes longer.
We provide support and maintenance under terms agreed in writing at handover — covering rule adjustments as your fulfillment process changes, bug fixes, and keeping the app current with Shopify Admin API version upgrades and webhook changes. Because the app is yours and runs against your store, we don't push silent updates; changes are scoped, tested and deployed with you.
Yes, in most cases. The app writes standard Shopify order/customer/product tags, metafields and fulfillment orders, so anything that reads those — Shopify Flow, your 3PL connector, exports, saved searches — picks them up natively. If you need it to read conditions from another app's metafields or coordinate with a specific 3PL's routing, we scope that into the build.
Yes. A bulk retro-tagging job applies new or revised rules across past orders so your reporting and segments stay consistent. All writes go through the Admin GraphQL API with idempotency, so replayed webhooks or re-runs won't double-tag, double-route or double-split an order.
