Características clave

Bulk-edit prices, compare-at prices, inventory quantities, tags, titles, descriptions and custom metafields across thousands of products and variants in a single job
Powerful targeting: filter the working set by tag, vendor, product type, collection, or a saved query before any edit runs
Preview-first workflow — see an exact before/after diff of every field on every affected product before committing the change
Scheduled edits with start/end windows for sales and price changes, applied and reverted automatically by a server-side scheduler
One-click undo and rollback — a snapshot of prior values is captured before each job so you can restore the previous state instantly
Built on the Shopify Admin GraphQL API (productUpdate, productVariantsBulkUpdate, inventorySetQuantities, metafieldsSet) with batching and rate-limit handling for large catalogs
Full support for typed metafields against your own metafield definitions (single-line text, number, JSON, references, list types)
Multi-location inventory aware — set or adjust on-hand quantities per location, not just a single global stock number
Find-and-replace and append/prepend operations on titles, tags and metafield values for consistent catalog cleanup
Job history and audit log showing who ran which bulk change, when, and what it touched
CSV import/export of a planned edit set for review or sign-off before applying
Embedded in Shopify Admin via App Bridge with Polaris UI, installed through OAuth with least-privilege scopes

Sobre este producto

The Bulk Product & Metafield Editor is a Shopify embedded admin app that ECOSIRE builds to order for your store, then installs and supports — it is not an instant App Store download. After purchase, our team provisions a private/custom Shopify app on your store via OAuth, scoped to read_products, write_products and the relevant *_inventory scopes, and configures it against your real catalog.

It is built for large-catalog merchants who run frequent price and promo changes and are tired of CSV round-trips and the 250-row ceilings of Shopify's native bulk editor. Edits run through the Admin GraphQL API using productUpdate, productVariantsBulkUpdate, inventorySetQuantities and metafieldsSet, batched and rate-limit-aware so a 10,000-SKU change completes reliably instead of timing out.

Every job is preview-first: you filter by tag, vendor, product type or collection, see the exact before/after diff, then apply. Scheduled edits let you stage a sale — prices change at the start window and revert when it ends — driven by a server-side scheduler, not a browser tab you have to leave open. A full snapshot of prior values is written before each job so one-click undo restores the previous state.

Because it is purpose-built, the data model maps to your metafield definitions, multi-location inventory and naming conventions — no forcing your catalog into a generic app's assumptions. ECOSIRE handles the build, the install, and ongoing support. The honest trade-off versus an off-the-shelf app is a short build lead time up front, in exchange for a tool that fits your store exactly.

lo que obtienes

  • A custom Shopify embedded admin app (private/custom app) provisioned on your store and installed via OAuth with least-privilege scopes
  • Configuration mapped to your actual metafield definitions, locations, tags, vendors and product types
  • Preview, scheduling and undo/rollback engine wired to the Admin GraphQL API for your catalog size
  • Deployment to ECOSIRE-managed hosting (or your infrastructure) with webhooks registered for app/uninstall and product events
  • Admin walkthrough / handover session plus a short usage guide for your team
  • A defined support and update window after go-live, with response SLAs agreed at kickoff

¿Para quién es esto?

Catalog & Merchandising Manager

Owns a 5,000+ SKU store and runs frequent price, promo and tag changes. Needs to touch thousands of products at once without CSV exports, broken formulas or accidental overwrites — and wants a preview before anything goes live.

Ecommerce Operations Lead

Coordinates flash sales and seasonal pricing across multiple collections and locations. Needs scheduled price changes that flip on and revert automatically, plus an audit trail of every bulk job for accountability.

Store Owner / Technical Lead

Manages a large catalog with heavy custom metafield usage (specs, compatibility, enrichment data). Wants edits that respect their own metafield definitions and multi-location inventory, and a safety net — one-click undo — before approving any mass change.

Preguntas frecuentes sobre Bulk Product & Metafield Editor

Is this an instant App Store download?

No. This is a build-to-order app. After purchase, ECOSIRE builds the app, provisions it on your store as a private/custom Shopify app, installs it via OAuth, and configures it against your real catalog and metafield definitions. You are buying a finished tool tailored to your store, not a self-serve App Store install.

How long until it's live on my store? (delivery / lead time)

Typical delivery is about one working week from kickoff, depending on catalog size, the number of custom metafields, and any scheduling or location rules specific to your store. We confirm a firm timeline at kickoff after reviewing your catalog. The price shown is a one-time build fee.

What ongoing support and updates do I get?

Go-live includes a defined support window with agreed response SLAs for bug fixes and questions. Because ECOSIRE builds and hosts the app, we keep it working as Shopify deprecates and versions the Admin GraphQL API. Feature additions or expanded support after the initial window are scoped as a separate, optional engagement.

Will it work with my custom metafields and multiple locations?

Yes. The app is configured against your own metafield definitions (including JSON, reference and list types) and is multi-location inventory aware, so you can set or adjust on-hand quantities per location rather than a single global number. This per-store mapping is exactly why it is built to order rather than shipped generic.

What happens if a bulk edit goes wrong?

Every job is preview-first: you see an exact before/after diff before committing. Before each change is applied, the app snapshots the prior values, so one-click undo restores the previous state. A job history and audit log records who ran what and when.

What access does ECOSIRE need to build and install it?

We install the app via OAuth with least-privilege scopes — typically read/write products and the inventory scopes required for your use case. We do not request more than the app needs. Hosting can be on ECOSIRE-managed infrastructure or your own, depending on your preference and security requirements.
