Technically it centers on new models such as agency.retainer and agency.retainer.line (compute fields with @api.depends roll up consumed vs. contracted hours from account.analytic.line/timesheets, surfacing burn-down and over-service alerts), extends project.project and sale.order with campaign and media-budget fields, and adds a crm.stage-style creative approval workflow on deliverables driven by base.automation automated actions and mail.activity for client reminders. Retainer renewal and invoicing are handled by scheduled ir.cron jobs that generate the next account.move draft; markup on pass-through ad spend is computed at the analytic line.
