ECOSIRE delivers it as a versioned module under app/code/Ecosire/MercadoPago, wired through di.xml using Magento\Payment\Gateway\Command, value handlers and validators, so authorize, capture, sale and refund each map to a discrete gateway command against the MercadoPago Payments API.
