What it is. A custom Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central extension that turns BC into the command centre for your marketplace content and pricing. It generates channel-ready listing copy with AI, monitors competitor prices, and reprices your SKUs against rules and AI signals to win and hold the Buy Box — all without your team leaving Business Central.

How it's delivered (honestly). This is not an instant AppSource download. ECOSIRE builds the app in AL as a per-tenant extension scoped to your tenant, then installs it directly into your BC environment (cloud/SaaS or on-prem) and supports it afterwards. You get the source-of-truth AL project, a dedicated permission set, and a documented hand-over.

How it works technically. We add table extensions to Item and a new "Marketplace Listing" table, plus page extensions on the Item Card and a Repricer Role Center. Event subscribers react to inventory and price changes; a Job Queue entry runs scheduled repricing and competitor polls. Listing generation and repricing decisions call your chosen AI gateway (Azure OpenAI Service via Business Central's Azure OpenAI AL module / HttpClient) with your own API key. Marketplace and competitor data flows in through the BC REST/OData v4 API and channel connectors. Optional Dataverse / Power Platform integration surfaces listings and price actions in Power BI and Power Automate.

What stays in your control. Price floors and ceilings are stock-aware and never breach your margins. Every AI-generated title, bullet set and translation is staged for review before publish. All actions are logged for audit. Because it's your per-tenant extension, ECOSIRE can extend channels, prompts and rules as your catalogue grows.

How long until it's live on our Business Central environment?

This is a build-to-order extension, not an instant download. Typical delivery is about 3-5 weeks depending on how many marketplaces and the complexity of your repricing rules. We confirm scope, build the AL extension, install it as a per-tenant extension on your tenant, test against your catalogue, then hand over with documentation. You'll get a firm timeline after the scoping call.

What do ongoing support and updates look like?

Because the app is your own per-tenant AL extension, ECOSIRE supports it after go-live: bug fixes, BC version compatibility updates, and additions like new marketplace channels, new prompt templates or new repricing rules. We track Microsoft's BC release waves and validate the extension against new versions. Support and enhancement terms are agreed before we start; the one-time build price covers delivery and an initial support window.

Does this download instantly from Microsoft AppSource?

No. There is no AppSource listing or instant install. ECOSIRE builds the extension to your requirements and installs it directly onto your Business Central tenant as a per-tenant extension. This keeps it tailored to your channels, prompts and margin rules rather than a generic off-the-shelf app.

Which AI service does it use, and do we control the key?

It integrates with Azure OpenAI Service (or another gateway you nominate) through Business Central's AL Azure OpenAI module / HttpClient. You provide and own the API key, so AI usage is billed to you and your data stays under your governance. Prompt templates are editable so you can tune tone and channel rules.

Will repricing ever undersell our stock or break our margins?

No. Repricing is bounded by stock-aware floors and ceilings. The engine reads live Item inventory and your configured minimum margin, so it never prices below the floor and can hold or raise prices when stock is scarce. Every price change is logged for audit, and you can run AI content in review-before-publish mode.
