Aramex Shipping Connector (Middle East) is a build-to-order Dynamics 365 Business Central extension that wires Aramex directly into your warehouse and sales workflow — no copy-pasting consignment numbers into the Aramex portal, no separate label printer app.
ECOSIRE builds this as a per-tenant AL extension (not a generic AppSource download) and installs it on your Business Central Online or on-premises environment. We extend the Sales Order, Warehouse Shipment and Posted Sales Shipment pages with an Aramex FactBox and actions, add a dedicated Aramex Setup page for your account credentials and pickup details, and subscribe to posting events so a shipment can be booked the moment goods are picked.
Under the hood the extension calls the Aramex Shipping & Tracking API (Create Shipments, Create Pickup, Calculate Rate, Track Shipments) over HTTPS using BC's HttpClient. Account numbers and PIN/credentials for UAE, KSA, Kuwait and other GCC/MENA accounts are stored per company. The generated AWB PDF is rendered straight to a BC report or stored on the document, ready for the warehouse printer. Live rate calls can drive your freight charge line, COD amount and currency flow through to the Aramex booking, and a Job Queue entry polls tracking status back onto the shipment so customer service sees real delivery states in BC.
Because it is built for your tenant, we map it to your number series, locations, dimensions and permission sets, and we hand over source-controlled AL plus documentation. How long until the connector is live in our Business Central?
This is a build-to-order extension, not an instant AppSource install. Typical lead time is 2–4 weeks: we scope your Aramex accounts and document flows, build and unit-test the AL extension, deploy it to your sandbox for UAT, then promote it to production. The exact timeline depends on how many Aramex accounts (UAE/KSA/Kuwait, etc.) and how many shipping workflows are in scope. We confirm a date in writing before starting.
What happens with ongoing support and updates after go-live?
We hand over the source-controlled AL code and documentation, and offer ongoing support to keep the extension healthy through Business Central's monthly and major release cycles and any Aramex API changes. Bug fixes for the delivered scope during the warranty window are covered; new features, additional Aramex accounts or document flows are quoted as a change request. Because it is a per-tenant extension you are never locked to us — your IT team or any AL developer can maintain it.
Is this an official Microsoft AppSource app I can just download?
No. It is a custom per-tenant extension that ECOSIRE builds for your specific environment and installs for you. That is what lets us map it to your number series, locations, permission sets and your live Aramex credentials. There is no public download link — purchase starts the build engagement.
Do we need a separate integration server or middleware?
No. The extension calls the Aramex Shipping & Tracking API directly from Business Central using the platform's native HttpClient over HTTPS, and uses a Job Queue entry for scheduled tracking polls. There is no extra server, connector licence or third-party iPaaS to run or pay for.
Does it support COD and printing AWB labels from BC?
Yes. COD (cash-on-delivery) amount and currency are pushed into the Aramex booking from your order total, and the generated AWB label is rendered as a Business Central report/PDF so your warehouse can print it directly. Both are validated with you during UAT before go-live.
