Teams end up rebuilding this every month in spreadsheets, then re-keying totals into sales invoices, with revenue leaking on un-captured movements.
Logistics & 3PL Billing for Business Central is a per-tenant AL extension that ECOSIRE designs, builds, installs and supports directly on your Business Central environment (cloud SaaS or on-prem). It is not an instant Microsoft AppSource download — it is custom-built to your rate structure and contract terms, then deployed as a tenant-specific extension so it survives Microsoft's monthly platform updates.
The extension adds an Owner of Goods dimension across items and warehouse documents, storage and handling rate cards per client, and activity-based billing that captures inbound receipts, outbound shipments, pick/pack lines and value-added services as billable events. A scheduled job queue entry aggregates the period's activity into a draft Business Central sales invoice per client — using native G/L, dimensions, tax and posting so your accountants keep one source of truth.
Built with table and page extensions, event subscribers on warehouse and posting routines (so no base-app code is touched), permission sets, and OData/REST endpoints for WMS or portal integration. Is this an instant download from Microsoft AppSource?
No. This is a build-to-order extension. ECOSIRE scopes your storage, handling and value-added-service billing model, builds the AL extension to fit it, and installs it directly onto your Business Central environment as a per-tenant extension. It is not a one-click AppSource listing, and we never claim a download link that doesn't exist.
What is the delivery lead time?
After we confirm scope (your rate cards, VAS catalog, client list and integration needs), a typical build is delivered in roughly one working week. We install to a sandbox first for your UAT, then promote to production once you sign off. Larger or heavily integrated builds (EDI, WMS, custom portal) are scoped with their own honest timeline before any work starts.
How are ongoing support and updates handled?

Because the extension is built only with table/page extensions and event subscribers — no base-app modification — it is designed to survive Microsoft's monthly platform updates; if a future Business Central release ever breaks compatibility, we fix it under support. No. The extension generates draft sales invoices using your native Business Central G/L accounts, dimensions, tax setup and number series. Your finance team reviews and posts them as normal, keeping one source of truth. Permission sets separate warehouse activity capture from financial posting.
