Under the hood it is written in AL using table extensions and page extensions over Sales Order, Item and Posted Sales Invoice, with event subscribers wiring Amazon events into native posting routines. Order and fulfillment pulls run on the Job Queue against the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API), with OAuth (LWA) token handling, throttling and retry built in. Inbound documents are written through standard BC objects so your G/L, inventory valuation and customer ledger stay correct and auditable.

Correct — this is build-to-order, not a one-click install. Typical lead time is 3 to 5 weeks: scoping and SP-API access setup, then the AL build, then a sandbox UAT cycle on your data before supervised production go-live. The exact timeline depends on how many marketplaces, your item/SKU mapping complexity, and Amazon developer-app approval, all confirmed in writing before we start.

Every build includes a post-go-live support window covering bug fixes, sync error triage and compatibility updates when Microsoft ships new Business Central releases or Amazon changes the SP-API. Because it is installed as a per-tenant extension, we update it directly on your tenant. Extended support and enhancement retainers are available if you want a longer-term relationship.
+Is it installed on Business Central cloud (SaaS) or on-prem?
Both are supported. We deploy the AL extension as a per-tenant extension on BC SaaS, or install on a BC on-prem / Docker environment. SP-API calls require outbound HTTPS, which we configure as part of setup.

No. The connector uses table and page extensions plus event subscribers rather than modifying base objects, so it is upgrade-safe. All financial impact flows through native BC posting routines, keeping your general ledger, inventory valuation and customer ledger entries correct and fully auditable.
+Can it handle multiple Amazon marketplaces and the MENA region?
Yes. One tenant can sync NA, EU and MENA marketplaces, each with its own currency, tax context and item/price mapping. We configure marketplace-specific mappings during the build so the same BC items list correctly across regions.
+Do we need our own Amazon SP-API / developer credentials?
