The plugin connects WooCommerce to the QuickBooks Online API via OAuth 2.0 and runs a two-way sync of customers, orders, payments, products, inventory and tax. When an order reaches a status you choose (processing, completed, or a custom status), a WordPress woocommerce_order_status_changed action queues a job that posts a Sales Receipt or Invoice into QBO with line items, shipping, discounts and the correct tax code mapped from your WooCommerce tax classes. Payments captured by your gateway are posted against the matching QBO transaction so your Undeposited Funds and bank-reconciliation flow stays clean.
It is fully HPOS-aware — it reads and writes through WooCommerce's custom order tables (and the legacy wp_posts store during transition), so nothing breaks when you enable High-Performance Order Storage. Product and inventory levels sync both ways, so a stock adjustment in QBO or a sale on the storefront keeps quantities aligned.
You control everything from a dedicated wp-admin settings screen: field mapping, account/tax mapping, a sync window as frequent as every 5 minutes (via WP-Cron or a real server cron we configure for reliability), and a historical order import/backfill so your opening balances and prior orders land in QBO correctly. Every sync is logged with retry-on-failure, and we hand over documentation plus a support window. You own the code on your server.

Every build includes a post-delivery support window for fixes and questions, plus documentation. Yes. We run a historical order import/backfill for an agreed date range so prior orders, payments and taxes land in QBO. The job is idempotent and de-duplicates against existing QBO records by email and transaction reference so you do not get double-posted invoices or duplicate customers.

You can schedule syncs as frequently as every 5 minutes.
