What it does. The app registers Shopify Admin API webhooks (orders/create, orders/updated, refunds/create, app/uninstalled) and uses Shopify's GraphQL Admin API to read fulfillment locations, multi-location inventory and order line items. At checkout it returns rooftop-accurate rates resolved to the delivery address — state, county, city and special-district — applying the correct product taxability rules (Streamlined Sales Tax / SST categories) per SKU. Each SKU's tax category is stored in Shopify metafields so taxability travels with the product.
Who it's for. US-based and US-selling Shopify merchants who have crossed — or are about to cross — economic-nexus thresholds in multiple states and need to stop guessing. The built-in Nexus Tracker rolls up your sales and transaction counts per state, compares them to each state's threshold, and alerts you before you trip a registration obligation.
