Financial Reports - PDF, Excel

This is a made-to-order module that ECOSIRE builds for your specific chart of accounts and reporting needs. At its core it adds a reporting layer over the accounting data — reading account.move.line, account.account, and period/fiscal-year context through the ORM — and exposes an "Export" action on each configured report. The PDF path is a QWeb report (ir.actions.report with report_type='qweb-pdf') rendered through your company letterhead and res.company branding, with configurable sections, subtotals and comparative-period columns. The Excel path streams a genuine .xlsx workbook (built with xlsxwriter, not an HTML-table rename) that preserves number formatting, currency symbols, frozen header rows, grouping/outline levels, and — where you want them — live SUM formulas so accountants can keep working in the sheet. Report definitions are data-driven where practical (a financial.report.line style model with @api.depends computes) so new reports or restructured hierarchies do not always require code changes. Access is locked down with ir.model.access.csv plus record rules so only the finance/accounting groups can run and export, and multi-company data is respected through the standard company rules.

Because it is built to order, we start from your actual reports. During scoping we confirm which statements you need (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, General Ledger, Trial Balance, Aged Receivable/Payable, Cash Flow, Executive Summary, or bespoke management packs), your comparative-period and currency requirements, whether output must be triggerable via the XML-RPC/JSON-RPC API or a scheduled ir.cron automated action (e.g. email the monthly pack to management), and which Odoo edition and version you run. Everything is delivered as a clean, installable module with its own __manifest__.py, versioned for your target — we support Odoo 17.0, 18.0 and 19.0, and Community or Enterprise.

Delivery is build-to-order: this is not an instant download. After a short scoping call we confirm the exact report set and formatting, agree a fixed quote, then build, test on a staging copy of your database, run UAT with your finance team, and deploy with a rollback plan. Typical delivery is 2-4 weeks from confirmed scope, depending on how many reports and how much custom layout work is involved. Pricing starts from $249 (indicative, single-company base scope covering the standard statements in PDF and Excel); additional statements, deep custom layouts, multi-company consolidation, and integration or scheduled-delivery work increase the quoted scope.
