Once live, your team sends a Posted Sales Invoice, Sales Order, Customer Statement, or Vendor document over WhatsApp with one click from the BC card or list. The extension uses page extensions to add a "Send via WhatsApp" action, an event subscriber to capture the document context, and a report-to-PDF step that renders the relevant BC report layout and attaches it to the message.
Messages are driven by customizable templates per document type (invoice, quote, reminder, order confirmation) with field placeholders pulled from the record — customer name, document number, due date, amount. Outbound calls go through the WhatsApp Business Cloud API (Meta's official gateway) using your own WhatsApp Business account and approved message templates, so you stay compliant with WhatsApp's business-initiated messaging rules.
