The Magento / Adobe Commerce Connector for Business Central is a custom AL extension that ECOSIRE builds, installs and maintains on your Dynamics 365 Business Central tenant to keep Adobe Commerce (Magento) and your ERP continuously in step.
This is a build-to-order engagement, not an instant AppSource download. After purchase, our AL engineers scope your Adobe Commerce edition (Open Source or Adobe Commerce Cloud), your store/website topology and your BC version (cloud SaaS or on-prem), then deliver a per-tenant extension deployed to your environment. You get the source, the permission sets and a documented integration — owned by you.
What it does. Orders, customers and invoices flow bi-directionally between Magento's REST API and Business Central. Products, categories and images publish from BC out to one or many storefronts. Inventory and price changes sync in near-real-time. B2B price lists and customer-specific pricing in BC are honored at the Magento checkout. Multi-store and multi-website setups map cleanly to BC dimensions, locations and customer segments.
How it's built. We use AL table and page extensions to surface Magento fields on Customer, Item and Sales Order, event subscribers (e.g. OnAfterReleaseSalesDoc) to trigger pushes, the BC REST/OData v4 API plus the Magento REST API for transport, and the Job Queue for scheduled reconciliation and retry. An integration log and field-level mapping table give you full traceability. Where you run Power Platform, we can surface sync status through Dataverse.
Because it's scoped to your data and processes, it does what a generic AppSource app can't — without the open-ended cost and key-person risk of a from-scratch DIY build. ECOSIRE owns the delivery and the support.

How long does delivery take, and what happens after I buy?
This is build-to-order. After purchase we run a short scoping call to confirm your Adobe Commerce edition, store topology and BC version, then build and deploy the per-tenant extension. Typical delivery is one working week depending on the number of storefronts and the depth of B2B pricing rules. You validate in a BC sandbox against a Magento staging store before we cut over to production.
Do you provide ongoing support and updates after go-live?
Yes. Every build includes a warranty period for defect fixes, and we offer ongoing support plans covering Magento and Business Central platform updates (BC ships major releases twice a year), API changes, new mapping requirements and monitoring of the integration log. Because you own the AL source, you are never locked to us — but we remain available to maintain and extend the connector.
Is this an app I can install myself from Microsoft AppSource?
No. It is not an instant AppSource download. ECOSIRE builds it as a per-tenant extension and installs it directly on your Business Central environment. This lets us tailor the field mappings, pricing logic and multi-store routing to your exact setup rather than forcing your data into a generic template.
Does it work with both Business Central cloud (SaaS) and on-premises?
Yes. The extension is AL-based and targets both BC online (SaaS) and on-premises deployments. For SaaS we use OAuth and the BC REST/OData v4 API; for on-prem we configure the equivalent service endpoints. We confirm your exact BC version during scoping so the extension is built and validated against it.
How are multi-store, multi-website and B2B customer-specific pricing handled?
Each Magento store and website is mapped to a BC location, dimension and customer segment so orders, inventory and revenue land in the right place. B2B price lists and customer-specific agreements maintained in Business Central are pushed to Magento and honored at checkout, so negotiated prices stay consistent across both systems.
What if my Adobe Commerce store has heavy customization or custom attributes?
That is exactly why this is build-to-order. We map your custom product attributes, customer fields and order extensions into BC via table extensions and the field-level mapping table. Heavily customized stores are scoped during the discovery call so the connector reflects your real data model rather than a fixed schema.
