Cashfree / Instamojo UPI Gateway for WooCommerce is a custom-built payment gateway plugin for Indian merchants who want a UPI-first checkout that settles fast. ECOSIRE builds it to your store's exact configuration, then installs and configures it on your WordPress site — this is not an instant WooCommerce.com download.

Under the hood it registers a WC_Payment_Gateway subclass through the woocommerce_payment_gateways filter, so it appears natively under WooCommerce → Settings → Payments. Customers get UPI intent (deep-link to GPay/PhonePe/Paytm on mobile), UPI collect (enter VPA), and a dynamic UPI QR for desktop, alongside cards, net banking and wallets through your chosen processor — Cashfree Payment Gateway or Instamojo.

We wire the full lifecycle: an order-pay redirect or seamless modal, a server-to-server webhook listener (registered via add_action('woocommerce_api_{slug}', ...)) that verifies the signature, transitions orders through payment_complete(), and writes the gateway transaction/UTR reference to order meta. Refunds are handled from the WooCommerce order screen and sync back via webhook so partial and full refunds reconcile. Where your processor and MID support it, we enable the instant / T+0 settlement option and surface settlement status in order notes.

The plugin is HPOS-compatible (declares custom_order_tables support so it works with WooCommerce's high-performance order storage), respects WP-Cron for any pending-status reconciliation sweeps, and is WPML/multilingual-aware at checkout. Payment links and subscription flows are supported where the gateway's API allows. How long until the gateway is live on my store?

Typical delivery is 5 to 8 business days from when we receive your Cashfree or Instamojo sandbox and live API credentials and access to a staging site. We build, run sandbox transactions against your live theme, configure webhooks, then promote to production with you. Subscription or payment-link requirements may add a few days; we confirm the timeline in writing before starting.

Is this an instant download from WooCommerce.com or WordPress.org?

No. This is a build-to-order plugin. ECOSIRE builds it to your store's configuration and your processor account, then installs and configures it on your WordPress site. You are not buying a self-serve marketplace download — you are buying a delivered, working integration on your live store.

What do I need from Cashfree or Instamojo before you start?

An active merchant account with the processor, your sandbox and live API keys/secret, and the merchant ID (MID). For instant/T+0 settlement, that feature must be enabled on your MID by the processor — we configure the plugin to use it, but the processor controls eligibility. We'll also need to add the webhook URL in your processor dashboard.

Does it work with HPOS and my existing theme and plugins?

Yes. The gateway declares compatibility with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (custom order tables) and follows the standard WC_Payment_Gateway pattern, so it coexists with most themes and checkout plugins. We test against your actual theme and checkout during the build; if a conflicting plugin needs accommodation, we flag it during staging.

What ongoing support and updates do I get?

The delivered build includes 30 days of post-launch support covering bug fixes and configuration help for what we shipped. After that, you can keep the code as-is or take an optional maintenance arrangement for WooCommerce/WordPress core-update compatibility and gateway API changes. We scope and quote maintenance separately so you only pay for what you need.
