The connector authenticates to Shopify via OAuth with read scopes on orders, transactions, products and inventory, then reads order data through the Admin GraphQL API. On an hourly schedule (and optionally on the orders/create and refunds/create webhooks for near-real-time pushes), it creates the matching sales invoice in Zoho Books, attaches line items, and posts the customer record.

The build includes a post-launch support window for mapping adjustments and bug fixes. After that, ECOSIRE offers ongoing support and maintenance — including adapting to Shopify Admin API version changes and Zoho Books API updates — as a separate arrangement. We do not abandon the connector after handover.
+What access do you need from me?
OAuth (or a custom/private app) connection to your Shopify store with read scopes on orders, transactions, products and inventory, plus an authorized connection to your Zoho Books organization. We use the minimum scopes required and document exactly what each is for.
+How are refunds, taxes and gateway fees handled so my books actually reconcile?
Refunds and partial refunds are written to Zoho Books as credit notes, never by deleting invoices. Shopify tax lines are mapped to your Zoho tax rates, and Shopify Payments/gateway fees are booked as expenses so that the net payout you receive matches the deposit recorded in Zoho. This is exactly the part generic apps tend to get wrong.
