The DHL Express & eCommerce Connector is a build-to-order Shopify app that ECOSIRE develops, installs on your store and supports — it is not an instant App Store download. We build it against your real DHL account numbers, your product catalog and your fulfillment workflow so it works on day one of go-live.

On the storefront, it surfaces live DHL Express and DHL eCommerce rates at checkout using Shopify's Carrier Service API, quoting from your negotiated DHL contract rates rather than published retail prices. Behind the scenes it reads multi-location inventory and product metafields (HS codes, country of origin, weight, customs value) so every quote and label reflects what's actually shipping.

When an order is paid, a Shopify orders/create webhook triggers the connector to generate the DHL Express commercial invoice and customs documentation, assign or validate HS tariff codes, and produce print-ready labels (PDF/ZPL) for thermal or laser printers. It writes the DHL tracking number back to the Shopify order via the Admin GraphQL API and registers a fulfillment so customers get native Shopify tracking emails and the order timeline updates automatically.

It also estimates landed cost (duties + taxes + shipping) for cross-border carts and lets ops staff book a DHL pickup without leaving Shopify admin.

Connection is via OAuth to your store with a least-privilege scope set, and your DHL credentials are stored server-side, never in the theme. Because we build it to order, the rate logic, doc templates and label formats are tailored to your DHL agreement — then ECOSIRE installs it, validates it against test shipments, and supports it after launch.
