Every build includes a post-launch support window for bug fixes and for keeping the integration working as Conekta and Shopify update their APIs (for example Admin API version deprecations or webhook changes). After that window you can extend support with a maintenance arrangement. Because the app is private to your store, updates are applied directly by us — you don't wait on a public app's release queue.
+Do I need my own Conekta account?
Yes. You sign up with Conekta and complete their merchant onboarding and KYC; we connect the integration to your account using your API keys. This keeps settlement, fees and compliance in your name. We configure everything else, and your secret keys are handled securely — never committed to code or stored in plaintext.
+How does the OXXO cash flow actually work in Shopify?
When a shopper chooses OXXO, Conekta issues a voucher with a reference number and expiry. We create the Shopify order in a pending state and store the reference and expiry in order metafields so they show in confirmation emails and your admin. When the customer pays at an OXXO store, Conekta fires an order.paid webhook and we transition the order to paid via the Admin GraphQL API. If the voucher expires unpaid, we cancel the order automatically so your fulfillment queue stays clean.
+Can it handle interest-free installments (MSI) and subscriptions?
Yes. For eligible card BINs we surface meses sin intereses plans (typically 3, 6, 9 and 12 months) at checkout, and Conekta handles the installment authorization. For subscriptions we use Conekta saved payment sources to support recurring billing. Exact MSI plan availability depends on the issuing bank and your Conekta agreement, which we confirm during scoping.

Card details are tokenized client-side by Conekta's hosted fields, so raw card numbers never touch your Shopify store or our code — this keeps you in the lightest PCI SAQ scope.
