Beverage distribution punishes generic ERP. A wholesaler moving beer, water, soft drinks, juices, or spirits juggles route-based delivery schedules, returnable containers and pallet/keg deposits, promotional price lists that change by brand and season, empties reconciliation on every truck, mixed-case and layer/pallet unit conversions, and — for alcohol and regulated drinks — lot/expiry traceability and excise or deposit-return-scheme reporting. Stock Odoo (sale, stock, account) handles a straightforward buy-store-sell flow well, but it has no native concept of a returnable-deposit liability that follows a container out and back, no driver route/load sheet, and no beverage-specific pricing matrix. Teams end up bolting this onto spreadsheets and manual journal entries, which breaks the moment volume grows.
This is where we build. ECOSIRE develops a dedicated Odoo application whose __manifest__.py depends on sale_management, stock, and account, adding new models such as beverage.route, beverage.deposit.type, and beverage.container.movement (all models.Model) plus targeted extensions of product.template, sale.order, and stock.picking. Deposit balances are @api.depends computed fields that post to a dedicated liability account through account.move so empties owed are always visible on a partner's ledger, never a sticky note. Returnable containers are tracked as their own tracked products with lots where you need serial-level kegs, and unit-of-measure categories model the case ↔ bottle ↔ pallet conversions your buyers actually order in.
