Mobile Expense Capture & Approval
A mobile-first NetSuite expense application — receipt photo capture, mileage claims, policy checking and approval routing — posting into native Expense Reports. Built to order after a scoping call and fixed quote.
A built-to-order integration that posts the NetSuite events your team acts on into the right Slack channel,
lets people approve or reject from the message, and writes the decision back to the record.
ECOSIRE scopes it to your NetSuite account and your channel structure.
Sob encomenda
Connects NetSuite and Slack: record alerts, approval buttons and read-only lookups reach the Slack channels your team already uses, and decisions are written back to the NetSuite record. Built to order by ECOSIRE for Oracle NetSuite (build-to-order) — scoped and quoted per project; request a quote for a scoped proposal.

Most NetSuite teams already know which events matter: an order over a credit limit, a vendor bill waiting for approval, a purchase order stuck in pending, an invoice that has gone past due, a support case that has been escalated. What goes wrong is how people find out. Email notifications from saved searches pile up next to everything else, nobody owns the inbox, and the approver is in Slack all day but only opens NetSuite when something is already late. The result is the familiar pattern: work waits for a person who did not know it was waiting.
The second problem is the way back. When someone does notice, the conversation about the record happens in Slack, the decision is made in Slack, and then somebody has to remember to go into NetSuite and record it. That gap is where audit trails break and where a 'yes' in a thread never becomes an approved transaction.
We build a NetSuite-to-Slack integration around the specific records and channels you name. Nothing is generic. We start from your saved searches, workflows and approval routes and decide, record type by record type, what deserves a message, who should see it and what they should be able to do from it.
Alerts are raised from SuiteScript 2.1 User Event scripts, scheduled scripts or SuiteFlow workflow actions, whichever fits the event. Each one calls the Slack Web API (or an incoming webhook where that is enough) over HTTPS from NetSuite. You choose the triggers: a sales order saved above a threshold, a bill submitted for approval, a purchase order past its expected receipt date, an invoice passing a due date, an item falling under its reorder point. Messages are built with Slack Block Kit so they carry the fields people need to decide (customer, amount, owner, age) and a link straight to the NetSuite record.
For the routes you choose, the message carries Approve and Reject buttons. A button press goes to a small endpoint that verifies Slack's request signature, identifies the Slack user, maps them to a NetSuite employee, checks that they are allowed to act on that record, and then performs the approval through your existing approval logic. The endpoint is either a Suitelet available without login or a thin relay, whichever your security policy prefers. The decision, who made it and when, is written back to the NetSuite record so the audit trail lives where your auditors look for it. The message in Slack is updated to show the outcome.
A channel that receives everything is a channel nobody reads. The build includes a routing table you can maintain: by subsidiary, department, customer segment or amount band, to a channel or to a person. It also includes de-duplication and quiet windows, and it queues bursts, because Slack rate-limits message posting per channel and a month-end close can raise hundreds of events at once.
Where it helps, a Slack slash command returns a read-only summary of a customer, order or item (balance, open orders, stock on hand) from NetSuite through SuiteQL or a saved search, limited to what that user is permitted to see.
Every send and every callback is logged in a custom record with status, payload reference and retry count. Failed deliveries retry with backoff and surface in a saved search, so a broken Slack token or a revoked scope is noticed by you before it is noticed by an approver.
NetSuite customers whose approvers, sales managers or operations leads already work in Slack and who want exceptions, approvals and escalations to reach them there. It suits finance teams that need approvals to leave a NetSuite audit trail, and operations teams that run on exceptions rather than reports.
1. Scoping call. We walk through the records, approval routes, subsidiaries, roles and Slack workspace structure, and agree which events and actions are in scope. 2. Written quote. You receive the scope, exclusions, assumptions and delivery date in writing before any build starts. 3. Build in your sandbox. We build and test against a NetSuite sandbox and a non-production Slack workspace or channels, with your real record shapes. 4. Acceptance. You run your own scenarios, including the failure cases, and sign off. 5. Go-live. We deploy the SuiteApp or bundle to production, install the Slack app in your workspace and hand over the runbook.
Nothing here is a download. The integration is written for your NetSuite account after a conversation about your approval routes, and a written quote fixes scope, exclusions and the delivery date. It sits beside your NetSuite approval design and your Slack administration rather than replacing either, and each vendor's licensing and support stay exactly where they were.
A short call to confirm the workflow, your platform version and where the integration boundaries sit.
You receive a written scope and a fixed price. Nothing is built until you approve it.
We develop against a copy of your configuration and test it there. Typically two to four weeks.

Needs bills, journals and purchase orders approved on time without chasing, and needs every approval to be a recorded NetSuite event, not a message in a thread.
Wants large orders, credit holds and pricing exceptions to reach the right manager the moment they happen, with the order link and the customer's balance in the message.
Owns the approval routes and the saved searches that currently email people. Wants one governed integration with a delivery log instead of a growing pile of one-off scripts.
| Critério | ECOSIRE | Alternativa manual |
|---|---|---|
| How an approver finds out | The alert arrives in the Slack channel you chose, with the amount and a link to the record | A saved-search email in a busy inbox, or someone remembers to look |
| Acting on the request | Approve or reject from the message, for the routes in scope | Open NetSuite, find the record, approve it there |
| Audit trail | Approver and time recorded on the NetSuite record | A 'yes' in a Slack thread that someone re-keys later |
| Who is allowed to act | Slack user mapped to a NetSuite employee and permission-checked | Anyone who can read the thread |
| Month-end bursts | Queued and de-duplicated within Slack's posting limits | Email floods or messages dropped |
| Seeing a broken integration | Delivery log and a failure saved search | Nobody notices until an approver says nothing arrived |
