O que é HubSpot Slack Integration?
Connects HubSpot and Slack: deal, ticket and approval alerts are routed to the right channel or person, and action buttons update the HubSpot record and show who made the change. Built to order by ECOSIRE for HubSpot (build-to-order) — scoped and quoted per project; request a quote for a scoped proposal.

Sobre este Produto
HubSpot has an official Slack integration, and for notifications on a deal or a ticket it is usually the right first step: install it and see. The companies that come to us have usually found its edges. They want alerts routed by territory, product line or deal size to different channels, an approval that has to be recorded in HubSpot, an escalation that changes owner after an hour of silence, or a ticket thread that stays attached to the record. Those are rules, and rules are what we build.
The failure we see most is not a missing notification. It is a notification that goes to a channel of two hundred people, gets a thumbs-up emoji from one of them, and then nobody owns it.
What ECOSIRE builds
A custom integration between HubSpot and Slack built on a HubSpot private app (CRM API and webhook subscriptions or workflow actions, depending on your subscription tier) and a Slack app using the Web API and Block Kit. Scope comes from your pipelines and your teams.
Routed alerts with an owner
Events you choose (a deal entering a stage, a deal above a size, a ticket past its SLA, a high-intent form submission, a renewal date approaching) post to the channel or person your routing table names, by territory, product line, segment or amount. Each message carries the fields the reader needs and a link to the HubSpot record, and names a single owner. Where nobody acts within a window you set, the message escalates to a named backup instead of waiting.
Actions that write back to HubSpot
Buttons on the message let the right person claim a lead, change a deal stage, assign a ticket, log a note or approve a discount. A press goes to an endpoint that verifies Slack's request signature, maps the Slack user to a HubSpot user, checks that they are allowed to make that change, applies it through the HubSpot API and updates the message to show who did what.
Approvals with a record
Discount, quote or contract-term approvals are requested in Slack and recorded on the HubSpot deal: approver, decision, time and comment. The deal cannot advance past the approval stage until the decision exists.
Conversations stay with the record
For the cases that need it, a thread in Slack is linked to the deal or ticket, and chosen replies are logged as notes on the record, so the discussion is not lost when the channel scrolls.
Quiet by design
The build includes de-duplication, quiet hours, digest mode for lower-priority events, and queuing for bursts, because Slack rate-limits message posting per channel. A message log with status and retry makes a revoked token or a changed scope visible to an administrator.
Who this is for
Sales, success and support teams that live in Slack and run on HubSpot, and whose alerting rules are specific enough that a standard notification does not fit: routing by territory or product, escalation, and approvals that must be recorded. If the standard integration fits, use it.
How delivery works
1. Scoping call. We review your pipelines, properties, teams, Slack workspace structure and what the standard integration did not do for you. 2. Written quote. Scope, exclusions and the delivery date go to you in writing; building starts after you accept. 3. Build against test accounts. We build against a HubSpot test or developer account and non-production Slack channels. 4. Acceptance. You run your own scenarios, including approvals and escalations, and sign off. 5. Go-live and support window. We install the Slack app, switch on production and stay through your first busy period.
What this is not
It is not a replacement for HubSpot's own Slack integration where that already fits your needs, and it is not an off-the-shelf download. It is written for your HubSpot account and your Slack workspace after a scoping call, against a quote that fixes scope, exclusions and the delivery date, and it leaves your sales process and Slack administration in your hands.
O que você ganha
- Integration code and settings deployed to your hosting, with a description of each function
- Slack app configuration for your workspace: scopes, interactivity settings, installation and token handling
- The alert and action catalogue: every event, trigger, recipient, escalation and button in scope, signed off before build
- Routing table and approval rule configuration, with documentation of how to maintain them
- Test evidence from HubSpot and Slack test environments, including escalation, failure and retry cases
- Administrator runbook covering token rotation, reconnecting authorisation and reading the message log
- Handover session for sales operations and the Slack workspace owner
Para quem é isso
Head of Sales
Wants the right rep to hear about a hot lead or a stalled deal in the minutes that matter, with someone clearly responsible and a fallback if they do not respond.
Customer Support Lead
Wants tickets past their SLA to reach the right team lead with the context in the message and the assignment recorded in HubSpot.
RevOps Manager
Needs discount and contract approvals to be a recorded HubSpot event, not a thumbs-up in a channel.
Como HubSpot Slack Integration se compara
| Critério | ECOSIRE | Alternativa manual |
|---|---|---|
| Where an alert goes | Routed by territory, product, segment or amount to the owning channel or person | One shared channel everyone mutes |
| Who owns it | A named owner, with timed escalation to a backup | A thumbs-up and no owner |
| Acting on it | Buttons that update the HubSpot record, permission-checked | Open HubSpot, find the record, edit it |
| Approvals | Recorded on the deal with approver and time; the stage is gated | A 'fine by me' in a thread |
| Bursts and repeats | De-duplicated, queued and digested | Repeated pings during a campaign |
| Seeing a broken integration | Message log with status and retry | Nobody notices the alerts stopped |
Perguntas frequentes sobre HubSpot Slack Integration
Can we install it from a marketplace?
No. It is a custom build for your HubSpot account and Slack workspace, scoped and quoted in writing first. Nothing is pre-built or available for instant download.
HubSpot already has a Slack integration. Why would we need this?
You may not. If the standard integration covers your notifications, use it. This is for the cases it does not cover for you, such as routing by territory or product, escalation to a backup, approvals recorded in HubSpot and thread linking, and we will say so in scoping if the standard integration already fits.
Can people change HubSpot records from Slack?
Yes, for the actions in scope. Each press is verified as coming from Slack, matched to a HubSpot user, checked against that person's permissions and applied through the HubSpot API, and the message shows who did what.
Which HubSpot subscription do we need?
That depends on the triggers in scope and on HubSpot's own plan terms, which HubSpot controls. We confirm it against your account during scoping and propose an alternative trigger where a feature needs a higher tier.
How do you stop alert fatigue?
Routing keeps each alert to the people who own it, de-duplication and quiet hours remove repeats, and lower-priority events can go into a digest. A single named owner on each alert replaces a channel full of bystanders.
Can we start with alerts and add actions later?
Yes. Alerts only read from HubSpot, so they are the lower-risk first phase. Actions write to HubSpot, so they come with the permission mapping and a sign-off on each. The quote can be phased that way.
