Document Send & Email Manager is a Dynamics 365 Business Central extension that ECOSIRE custom-builds, installs and supports on your environment. It gives customer service and accounts receivable teams a controlled, professional way to email documents — sales invoices, order confirmations, statements, reminders and more — without leaving Business Central.

The extension is written in AL as page and table extensions over the standard document pages (Posted Sales Invoice, Sales Order, Customer, and any document you nominate). It hooks Business Central's native email engine and the Email Account / SMTP or Microsoft 365 connector you already use, so sends flow through your existing approved mailbox rather than a third-party relay. Event subscribers on the document send codeunits let us inject language selection, body editing and attachment assembly into the standard "Send" action your users already know.
Email templates are language-versioned: the body, subject and signature resolve from the customer's Language Code, with a fallback chain you define. Before a message goes out, the user can edit the body inline on a send dialog, and personalization tokens (customer name, document number, due date, balance, salesperson) are substituted from the record. A single send can carry multiple attachments — the document PDF plus terms, a remittance slip or related files.

This is a build-to-order extension, not an instant AppSource download. After a short scoping call to confirm your document types, languages and token fields, ECOSIRE builds the AL extension and delivers it to your Business Central sandbox first. Typical lead time is 1 to 3 weeks depending on how many document types and languages you need. We validate against your real documents in the sandbox, then publish to production with you. You receive the source and own the extension.
The one-time price covers the build, installation and a warranty period to fix any defects after go-live. Because it is published as a per-tenant extension with no core modification and event subscribers over standard objects, it is designed to survive Business Central's regular update cycles. ECOSIRE offers an optional support and maintenance arrangement for template changes, new document types, new languages, and revalidation against major BC releases — quoted separately so you only pay for what you need.
Through your own. The extension uses Business Central's native email engine and whichever Email Account you have configured — the Microsoft 365 connector or your SMTP account. Messages send from your approved, authenticated mailbox, which keeps deliverability and compliance under your control. No external email relay is introduced.
It is built specifically to avoid that. We implement page and table extensions plus event subscribers rather than modifying base application code, which is Microsoft's recommended pattern for upgrade safety. Across normal monthly and major-release updates it continues to work. For major releases we recommend a quick sandbox revalidation, which is included in an optional maintenance arrangement.
Yes. The per-recipient send log is exposed through the Business Central REST/OData API and can optionally be surfaced into Dataverse. From there you can build Power BI dashboards on send activity or trigger Power Automate flows — for example, an escalation when an overdue reminder has been sent more than twice. We scope and wire this during the build if you need it.
