The free Shopify connector shipped with Business Central covers the basics — product push, simple order import, customer sync — but it hits a wall the moment your business needs B2B pricing, more than one store, or real fulfillment automation. The Shopify Deep Connector for BC is the extension that closes that gap.

This is a build-to-order product. ECOSIRE designs, develops, and installs it as a per-tenant AL extension directly on your Business Central environment (cloud SaaS or on-prem). It is not an instant AppSource download — we scope your stores, pricing rules, and warehouse layout first, then build the connector around your actual data model and deploy it through your sandbox before production.

Under the hood it uses table and page extensions plus event subscribers on sales, item, and warehouse events, calling the Shopify Admin REST/GraphQL API from job-queue-driven background tasks. Two-way sync keeps items, variants, and inventory aligned per location; orders import with their payment and fulfillment status mapped to BC sales documents; refunds, returns, and partial fulfillments flow back both ways.

For B2B, we wire customer-specific catalogs and tiered price lists to Shopify B2B / catalog pricing, so the same product can carry different prices per buyer or company. Multi-store / multi-location mapping lets one Business Central tenant serve several Shopify storefronts cleanly, each mapped to the right location, dimensions, and number series.

After a short scoping call we typically deliver a working connector in 2 to 4 weeks depending on the number of stores, B2B pricing complexity, and warehouse layout. ECOSIRE builds it as a per-tenant AL extension, deploys it to your Business Central sandbox for UAT, and then promotes the same .app to production with you. It is not an instant AppSource download — it is custom-built and installed for your environment.

What ongoing support and updates do I get?

Because this is your own per-tenant extension, ECOSIRE maintains it on your timeline. We provide post-go-live support, monitor sync health, and ship updates when Shopify's Admin API changes or your business adds stores, pricing tiers, or fulfillment rules. Support and enhancement terms are agreed up front; you are never blocked behind another vendor's release calendar.

How is this different from the free Shopify connector in Business Central?

The native connector handles basic product, order, and customer sync for a single store. It does not do B2B tiered pricing with customer-specific catalogs, multi-store mapping to one tenant, or full refund/return/partial-fulfillment round-tripping. This connector adds all of that and is shaped to your exact data model.

Does it work with Business Central online (SaaS) and on-premises?

Yes. The extension is written in AL using supported extension points — table/page extensions and event subscribers — so it installs cleanly on Business Central online (SaaS) and on supported on-premises versions. We confirm your version and licensing during scoping.

Will it modify or break the base application or future upgrades?

No. It is built as an extension using event subscribers and table/page extensions — it never changes base application objects. That keeps your tenant upgrade-safe. We test against your target BC version and re-verify after major platform updates as part of support.
