It gives fleet and operations managers a single source of truth for vehicles, maintenance, fuel and lifetime cost without bolting on a disconnected third-party system.
The extension adds a dedicated Vehicle Card and Vehicle List (new AL tables and pages), plus table extensions that link vehicles to your existing Item, Fixed Asset, Resource and Vendor records — so a truck can already exist as a Fixed Asset and still carry a full fleet profile. Preventive maintenance is driven by date and odometer thresholds, surfacing due and overdue work through the Job Queue and Business Central's native notification and reminder framework.
