At its core, the plugin hooks into WooCommerce order lifecycle events. When an order hits a status you nominate — processing, a custom status like wc-ready-to-pick, or a paid event — a woocommerce_order_status_changed action fires and the plugin compiles a pick list for that order, or queues it into the next consolidated batch. Batch picking merges line items across many orders so a picker walks the floor once and pulls quantities in bin-location order rather than order-by-order, which is where high-volume warehouses lose the most time.
Lists are rendered to a clean, printable HTML/PDF layout and can be downloaded from wp-admin, filtered by order status, date range, and shipping method. Bin locations are read from product/variation meta (we map them to your existing scheme, or seed them via CSV/the WooCommerce REST API). Sorting then uses that data so each pick list is ordered by aisle, shelf, and bin.
Can it batch-pick across many orders and filter the queue?
Yes. Consolidated batch picking aggregates identical SKUs and variations across the orders you select into one list, so a picker pulls total quantities in bin order in a single pass. You can filter the picking queue in wp-admin by order status, date range, and shipping method, and optionally schedule recurring pick waves via WP-Cron.
